He stashes his dick and helps me stand up. I’ve got a pool in my knickers, but I ignore it as he scoops up the blanket and shoves it in the basket. We didn’t get to eat, but this is way more fun and intimate. He picks up the basket and takes my hand, leading me back to the house.

“Was she expensive?” I ask.

“Cost me about a grand,” he replies.

“Wow, that’s a lot of money.”

He just shrugs it off, which reminds me how very different we are. But none of it matters. When he leads me into his bedroom a few minutes later, he drops the basket and pulls out a huge bag from under the bed.

He unzips it and pulls out the life-size blonde sex doll with tits pretty much the same size as mine and big blue eyes. Her mouth is shaped in an ‘O’ for reasons that don’t need explaining.

I reach out and stroke the lifelike ‘skin’. “Jesus,” I mutter. “And here I thought you meant a blow-up thing, like out of that episode ofOnly Fools and Horses.”

He lets out a loud guffaw. “Oh, my God! The scene where it inflates behind the bar! No,” he splutters. “I’m not that desperate.”

“What does it feel like?” I murmur.

“Close enough to the real thing that it got me through the rut.”

“Well, she’s pretty.”

“She can be disposed of now you’re here.” He zips her back up.

“Wait,” I say on impulse. “It seems a shame to get rid of her. We could, you know, maybe, you know…”Spit it out, Faith seeing as you got this far.“Have some fun with her, maybe?”

“Really?” he asks, scrunching up his nose. “You’d be up for that?”

I shrug. “Why not? I feel a bit sorry for her,” I say, mirth threatening to bubble up again.

“You know what? Me too. She was there for me when I needed her. I’ll keep her. If you decide she can come out and visit, then we know where she is.” He stuffs her back under the bed and it suddenly hits me, I’m in his room. I need to leave now before I do something I will definitely regret.

“I’d better get back to my nest,” I murmur.

“I’ll see you to your room,” he agrees.

We walk down the hallway in silence and when I push open the door to my room, I let out a cry of surprise at the sight in front of me.

Tears well up and fall down my cheeks as Sebastian turns to me and asks, “Do you like it?”

ChapterTwenty-Eight

Faith

My emotions overwhelm me and I ugly cry while kicking off my shoes. I alternate with a squeal of delight and clapping my hands before I cry again, snot and tears pouring out of my face. I crawl over to the huge nest that Sebastian and the other alphas have built, teepee style in the middle of the room. Heavy white and gold brocade curtains that somehow, they’ve attached to the ceiling, spread out to make a tent.

I crawl up to Harvey, who is on his knees, piling up blankets and pillows in the teepee while Sebastian hovers uncertainly.

“I FUCKING LOVE IT!” I bellow at him before I shove Harvey out of the way and dive into the nest filled to the brim with comfort. “Marshmallows, Summer rain, Ocean breeze and Woodsy rain,” I croak out, rolling around in the blankets like a joyful kitten. I sit up suddenly and stick my head out of the teepee, fixing Xander with a glare. “Did you know about this?”

He laughs. “Yes, another reason why we went outside.”

“Fucking bastard,” I grouse, but give him a smirk, so he knows I’m joking. Then I disappear from their sight and roll around again, grabbing a woodsy rain smelling blanket and rolling myself up in it like a sausage roll. “You guys,” I sob, the tears coming again. “You didn’t have to do this.”

Sebastian's head appears in the teepee opening. “Actually, we did. We won’t all fit in the wardrobe.”

I giggle like a maniac, hysteria descending as the nerves hit me, then it turns back into sobs again. “Thank you. Thank you so much.”

“You’re welcome,” he says. “I’m glad you fucking love it.”
