“You’re pregnant, aren’t you, baby girl?”

The silence is deafening.

Only the ragged pants of Atlas breaks it.

“What?” I ask, my voice high-pitched as I process his words.

Pregnant?

I’m pregnant?

“How do you know?”

“My sense of smell is heightened. The sweetness of your slick, of your scent, is deep and powerful and raw.”

“Oh,” I say faintly.

“Are you happy?” he asks carefully as Nico joins us, strolling up to us and eyeing up the scene in front of him.

Blinking back tears of happiness. “Yes, yes, I’m happy. What about all of you?” I meet Nico’s eyes, seeing the torrent of emotions that he refuses to express in any other way.

“Your alphas are all assembled here, baby girl. They must speak now and agree to this pack, agree to me as their prime and you as their mate. Agree to cherish and love you and the child you carry as if it was their own.”

“Do you?” I ask quietly, still stuck on Atlas’s knot.

“Yes.”

I look at Cain. He nods. “Yes.”

“Atlas?”

“Fuck, yeah.”

I giggle as that is so him to cut the tension.

“Nico?” I hesitantly look up at the stoic, taciturn alpha. “Always,” he murmurs. “You are my everything, and I will take whatever you give me, Sophia.”

I smile and then look at Trent. “Are you ready for this?”

He nods. “I know I said it wasn’t in my plans, but that was before I met you. You changed my whole world, Sugar baby. And now we are having a baby. Yes, I want you and this whole pack dynamic, which is weird, but we will find our way. Together.”

Letting the tears fall freely, I feel Atlas’s knot deflate. He withdraws from me, and I briefly wrap my arms around Trent, cupping his cheek and kissing him softly. “Yes. I want what you are offering to me.”

He smiles that slow sexy smile and then pulls back.

“Where were you?” he asks Nico. “We have been waiting for you to commit to Sophia as her alphas and her as our omega.”

“Business,” Nico says.“You need to come inside. Now.”

Without waiting for any more information, I bend down and retrieve my knickers from the soft woodland floor and shake them out. I replace them before buttoning up my dress.

Following Nico out of the woods, the rest of my alphas behind me, I am so glad that everyone is happy to include the others in our little pack. For the first time in my life, I can honestly say I’mhappy.

Nico pushes open the back door of the compound, which leads into the kitchen, and I take the steps quickly, with a smile at him, which he doesn’t return. My blood running cooler, I stare where he is, straight ahead, and scream at the scene being played out in the middle of the kitchen.

“No!” I yell as the gun fires, hurting my ears and making me dizzy. “No!”
