Hooking some hair behind my ear, he leans in. "That's Sir to you, pretty girl."
Oh fuck.
Just hearing him say it makes my center throb, never mind adding in the deep, sexy whisper to accompany it. Biting my bottom lip, I fight to control the desire building inside. I haven't come in days, and I'm not sure when he plans on taking me to this club he's been talking so highly about.
He lets me go and points me in the direction of my room. "Go now. I want you refreshed for this evening."
"Yes, Sir," I say, smirking.
He slaps my ass as I walk away. "Don't get sassy, or else I'll wash that mouth out." He teases.
I love Bain's playful side. I wish he could have been like this when Beau was around, then maybe his son wouldn't hate him so much. I know he misses him; I catch him staring at his picture quite often. I'm actually beginning to get irritated by the way Beau has just completely fallen off the grid. I asked Bain once if he ever thought that something may have happened to him, because after everything Beau and I had been through, this wasn't like him. Bain told me that every once in a while, Beau's old phone turns on, but never long enough to get a trace on it.
One of these days, Beau is going to come home and it's going to be too late to fix anything. Bain and I only have each other left, and I can honestly say that if it has to be this way, I really wouldn't mind. We have come to depend on one another, not as lovers but as friends...and as family.

Coming out of the bathroom after showering, I see that Bain has brought my dress in and hung it up. I haven't seen it because he wanted it to be a surprise. All he told me was that it was black lace. That tells me a lot, but I hadn't realized he meant all of it when he said black lace. Granted, the essential areas are covered, but other than that, you can see through the rest of it.
Believe it or not, it's still very classy and one of the most beautiful dresses I've ever seen. With its plunging neckline and slits up the side, almost to my hip, I feel very desirable when I put it on. The black strappy heels are a perfect match and very comfortable. All in all, Bain's designer did very well.
The door to the bedroom opens, and Bain walks in, but he doesn't make it too far before he stops and gasps with a captivated expression. Slowly, he walks over and circles me, taking in every curve of mine. I feel powerful in this dress, capturing Huntley's full attention like I am.
"You are going to make heads turn tonight, pretty girl," Bain says, dragging his fingers down my arm. "I should have security with us at all times."
"Oh, stop…" I giggle.
He quirks a brow at me. "You think I'm joking? Maybe I shouldn't have had my designer make this dress after all."
I get a good look at his attire, and my mouth waters. With an all-black tuxedo and his hair combed just right, his five o'clock shadow is the topping that has Bain looking fucking delicious. He smirks when he catches me ogling him, then pulls out a long, flat box from his pants pocket.
Every woman knows what comes in a box like this. My eyes widen in surprise. "You shouldn't have, Bain," I murmur softly, and open the box. "Oh, my God! I can't accept this…"
Inside the box is a diamond necklace that must have cost a fortune. Diamond clusters throughout the chain with a teardrop that will rest high on my sternum. Bain swipes it from my grasp and stands behind me to help me put it on. I try fighting him on it, but he pays no attention while I'm doing so. He goes even further and pulls out a matching bracelet and earrings. I've got to be wearing hundreds of thousands of dollars on me right now.
"Bain, I don't feel comfortable wearing all this. I'm afraid I will get robbed!" I tell him.
He only chuckles and places a chaste kiss on my neck. "You will see once we get there that I did indeed tone it down. You will be one of the few wearing the least diamonds. I knew you wouldn't like me buying them."
"I wouldn't have cared if I was the only one not wearing diamonds…"
"Exactly," he states. "Andthatis why you deserve them. Let me spoil you, Ryan. You're all I've got…remember?"
"Don't be turning my words around on me, buddy!" I lecture him.
"It was either this or a collar. I figured you would prefer this one for tonight." Bain chuckles.
"You didn't!?" I gasp.
"I guess you’ll have to wait and see." His dark eyes smolder as they stare at me in the mirror.
Resting my head back against his shoulder, I ask the big question, "Will I be able to come tonight, Bain?"
Pressing his lips against the skin at my neck and shoulder, he chuckles. "How bad do you want to come tonight?"
Turning my head, I look up at him. "I'll do anything, Bain."
