“That’s good. You need to relax a little bit. Your muscles are so tight,” I say, pushing his shirt down to expose his bare shoulders.

“You’re right. There’s been so much going on that it’s been hard to decompress, but I’m all yours now. Let me go change. It won’t take long since I’ve been helped out of some of my clothes already,” he says, smirking at me.

“Sorry, surely worthy of some sort of kinky punishment,” I say, winking at him as I take a seat across from him and sip my beer.

“I’m sure I can think of something, Baby. Now let me go and get dressed, I want to show the world my beautiful wife,” he says, taking a pull from his beer before heading into the bedroom.

I use the time to text Jenny and my mom letting them know we have arrived on the island and are settled in. Then I send Jay a text to tell him that I’d like to go for a run in the morning.

I scowl at the message I receive back.

Message: Talk to Chase, see if it works.

“What’s that look about?” Chase says, walking back into the room in a pair of khakis, and a button down short sleeve shirt and boat shoes.

“I sent Jay a note that I plan on going for a run tomorrow and he says to ask you if it works. What’s that all about? It’s beautiful and warm and I wanted to go for a run outside instead of on a treadmill,” I say.

“Hmm. I have a surprise for you that involves early morning plans,” he says, grasping my waist.

“Oh, well in that case, I can definitely skip my run,” I say, as he pulls me into his body.

“I plan to give you plenty of cardiovascular activity this week, Katarina,” he says, kissing my lips gently.

“Hmm, I like that,” I say.

“Starting with dancing. I’ll let Jay know we are heading downstairs,” he says.

The pathway is lit up with little white lights and lined with greenery as we make our way down the beach to where the band is set up. He guides me to a table in the front that has a reserved sign on it and pulls out my chair for me.

The server arrives almost immediately, removing the sign as I take in the surroundings, relishing in the warm breeze dancing over my skin while Chase gives him our order for drinks and appetizers.

“I love this little bar area. It’s completely open to the ocean and beach, but can be enclosed at a moment’s notice. The design is amazing,” I say, looking out at the whitecaps gently rolling across the sea in the distance.

“Señor Ridalgo had an amazing vision. The intent was to maximize nature views from wherever a patron stands, whether it be in their room, the elevator, a restaurant, or a bar,” Chase says.

“I think he succeeded. It’s absolutely perfect,” I say.

“I couldn’t agree more. Now, Mrs. Prestian, may I have this dance?” he asks as the band begins playing a slow sultry beat.

“Of course, Mr. Prestian,” I say, allowing him to lead me onto the dance floor and pull me into his arms.

The band continues to play requests throughout the night as we enjoy cocktails and dance to the songs we like best. The evening is finally starting to wind down and the group begins to play a few of their closing numbers as Chase leads me back onto the dance floor.

“I don’t think I’ll ever forget the first time I held your body in my arms on this very floor. I could feel your heart beating and your shallow breathing. All I could think about was making you mine,” he says, kissing the top of my hair.

“I had never felt desire like that before,” I say quietly.

“I know, Baby. I could feel your body’s response to my touch. It was the same for me,” he says, guiding me to the music.

“Tonight was magical. I’m wondering what will happen when we get back to our room?” I say.

“We’re not going back to our room tonight,” Chase says, pulling me closer as the band begins to play a slower song.

“Where are we going?” I ask.

“To the yacht,” he says, pushing the hair over my shoulder to keep it from blowing in my face.

“I didn’t pack anything from the room,” I say, shaking my head slightly as I realize he has the entire evening planned. “Silly me, my clothes and swimsuits were probably in place on the yacht long before now, huh?” I ask.
