“Thanks, Carlos. Glad to hear it, but I’m gonna need confirmation of that from the big guy,” he says.
“Sid, this is Chase. She was downstairs working out and didn’t realize she had gone off the grid. Sorry for the worry. If you would contact everyone, let them know she’s safe and call everyone off I would appreciate it,” he says, keeping his arms firmly around my waist.
“Chase, I’m sorry about this. It’s my job to make sure I know where she is at all times. I checked the gym, but everything was dark. I realized I missed the sauna the first time around and went back down,” Sheldon says.
“I didn’t tell Katarina the severity of the situation with Alfreita because I wanted to keep her sheltered. I should have told her how determined he has become in trying to gain any leverage that he can. She clearly didn’t realize the danger in not keeping you informed and that’s my fault. I’ll fill her in and we’ll meet with you and Jay after that to establish guidelines going forward,” Chase says.
“Sounds good,” Sheldon says.
I look at the clock and cringe as I realize that most of the morning is gone. “Chase, I’m supposed to be in the city by eleven. I thought Jenny was coming in last night so I made appointments for both of us, but it looks like she won’t arrive until later in the day,” I say, embarrassed that I neglected to let anyone know my plans.
His eyebrows raise in question. “Appointments for what?” he says.
I whisper in his ear. “Haircut, wax, you know…”
“I thought your mom arranged that for tomorrow,” he says.
I widen my eyes at him. “Not that,” I say quietly, letting my meaning register.
“Sheldon, Katarina needs to go into the city. Can you arrange security rather quickly?” he asks.
“Chase, use some of our men. Jay has already brought a few of my men up to speed and has synced technology with your own. They’ve been briefed on the situation,” Carlos says.
“Very good. Sheldon, make sure no one takes their eyes off of her. I want heavy guards around the perimeter and at least three female details inside the salon. Katarina will give you the address so you can make arrangements. Unfortunately, the appointment is soon. We’ll use Carlos’s team and have your men meet us there,” he says.
“You’re going to the salon with me?” I ask.
“We can’t be sure that someone wasn’t listening when you set up the appointment and unfortunately we don’t have time to run intel. I’m not about to let you out of my sight right now. I plan on marrying you tomorrow,” he says, kissing me soundly on the lips right in front of Sheldon and my dad.
I have barely gotten out of the shower and changed when Chase enters the room. “Baby, we have to hurry if we’re going to make it on time. The helicopter’s waiting,” he says, as I pull my towel-dried hair into a pony and we dash downstairs and outside toward the helipad that is already heavily surrounded by security.
Chase helps me into the shiny new blue helicopter. “I have to admit, the amenities, especially the custom soundproofing, are much nicer than the older model,” I say, curling into the soft leather sofa and buckling my seat belt.
“Glad you like it, Baby,” Chase says, sliding in beside me as the pilot prepares for liftoff.
“It’s definitely nice to hear each other talk on the way to the airport and not have to wear the headset,” I say as we begin our ascent.
“Would agree. It was never an issue before as I didn’t travel with anyone other than security and they all have three-ways,” he says, rubbing the tops of my shoulders with his hand.
“I’m sorry for all the fuss today. I seriously feel awful that we are using so many security people just so I can go get, you know…” I say, blushing.
“Oh, Baby, I would move mountains and then some to make sure that how you display your body to me on our wedding night is exactly what you want,” he says, pulling me close and kissing me lightly on the lips.
“I love you, Chase,” I say against the warmth of his lips.
“I love you, too, Katarina, and while I would like nothing more than to show you how much and break this helicopter in right, we are going to be landing in less than six minutes,” he says, rubbing his finger against my lips.
“I’d like to break it in, too,” I murmur, curling my face into the crook of his neck and breathing in the crisp clean smell of soap on his skin.
“Tell me what you’d like to do,” he murmurs against my lips.
“As soon as the pilot lifts off next time, I’d like to get out of my buckle and climb into your lap, straddling my legs around you,” I say.
“And then what?” he asks huskily.
“I’ll be wearing a short skirt, so you can reach underneath and put your hands on my ass and guide me onto your hard cock. Once I’m positioned, you’ll bring me down hard,” I say.
He kisses my lips passionately, lifting my hair and encircling my neck with his hand, pulling me closer. “Baby, if we weren’t going to be landing in the next few moments I would have my cock so deep inside of you,” he says.
