He took it, smirking.

She snatched the torn pink fabric off the floor and stuffed it into her purse. “Ilikedthis thong, you know.”

“Me too. I’ll buy you more,” he said while buckling his pants, the grin never leaving his face.

“You better.”

She adjusted herself in the mirror, making sure she looked somewhat decent before heading for the door.

But Savior grabbed her arm and spun her back into his chest, eyes locking with hers.

“You good?” he asked, voice lower now. Gentler.

She hesitated, but nodded. “Yeah… you fucked it all away.”

He chuckled, but he didn’t let go. He wasn’t asking about just sex and she knew it.

She exhaled. “No… but it felt good saying it out loud. For once.”

A slow smile spread across his face. “Not falling for me, are you, Ms. No Emotions?”

“Never,” she replied quickly, though her smirk gave her away. “Takes more than a museum date and some bomb-ass dick to get me, Mr. Unhinged.”

They both laughed before she pressed a soft kiss to his lips and stepped back.

Another knock hit the door—this time with the energy of someone about to break it down.

“Let’s go before I beat this hoe’s ass,” Ahzii muttered, rolling her eyes. “Can’t even have public sex in peace.”

Savior laughed. “Who’sunhinged now?”

She flipped him off as she pushed the door open, and immediately froze.

Standing outside was an elderly Black woman, smirk on her face like she caught them in the act. Ahzii’s mouth opened, then shut. She kept walking, face burning with embarrassment.

Savior walked out behind her, composed as hell.

The woman smiled kindly at them both. Then… lifted her hand and gave Savior a high five.

Ahzii nearly tripped.

“Beautiful girlfriend,” the old woman said sweetly.

Savior grinned. “Wife.”

The woman’s smile widened. “Well, keep makin’ her scream like that and you’ll have a long, happymarriage.”

“Noted,” Savior said with a chuckle, holding the door open for her like the gentleman he was.

Then he jogged a few steps to catch up with Ahzii, who refused to make eye contact.

They said a quick goodbye to Keon on the way out. Ahzii was quieter now, a little embarrassed, a little stunned, but her smile was real.

This date? A complete success.

Savior knew it. Not because of the sex, or the museum, or the praise.

But because he saw it now—clearer than ever.
