So, the little princess is a vybred. I knew a couple of them, but never a demonling one. Usually, they were vampires that packed with demons. It wasn’t common, but now and then a pack of demons would go to the mid-realm and come back with a vampire pack mate. The pack bond would transition the vampire into a demon body, much in the same way Morrigan was.

“Princess, anytime you feel hungry, you can always come to me,” I said seductively. I was doing pretty good until training this morning, when I felt an overwhelming need to protect my little princess. I pushed too hard, so now I had some ground to make up.

Jax had his arms crossed against his chest, looking even more like a disapproving old demon. Like a black unicorn sitting on a rainbow with a frown. He was sucking all the joy out of this little slice of happiness gifted to us.

“She’s going to be even more powerful now, which makes her an even bigger threat. We are going to need to keep this quiet,” Jax said.

I couldn’t miss the frown on Morrigan’s face when he said it. He was doing his very best not to look at her and she was attempting to stare a hole through his head. Something had definitely happened between them.

“Justice,” I whispered. He was wearing a pair of loose black sweats and had wet hair, like he had just come out of the shower. Looked almost as weird on him as the button down he wore for the feast. He leaned over to hear better as I gestured to Jax and Morrigan.

“Something’s up between them,” I said low.

“They kissed,” Justice whispered back.

“No shit?” my voice excited, entirely forgetting to keep my tone low. I felt the gazes bore into me as I attracted the attention of everyone in the room.

I cleared my throat. “Dude, you tasted the forbidden fruit. You are so fucking screwed now, man. You might as well give in and do this.” All this fucking around was pointless, and he knew it. He had a good run trying to prove he was stronger than the mate bond, but now that he cracked, it was only a matter of time.

Morrigan looked at Justice, horrified, “Justice. I didn’t tell you so you could tell Jasper.” She was dressed in loose sweatpants and a tank top. Her hair was also wet.

“Hey!” I exclaimed, pointing between Justice and Morrigan. “You both just got out of the shower.” I narrowed my eyes at Justice.

“We fucked, ok,” Morrigan sighed, slapping her hands on her thighs. “There, are you all happy now? Justice and I fucked, Jasper got close, and Jax and I kissed. Anyone else have any other personal questions you would like answered?”

“Does that mean fucking is on my menu too, princess?” I said with a smile. She wasn’t wearing a bra, and I watched her nipples harden at my words.

“You just worry about yourself, and we’ll get there when we get there,” she said in response as her arms folded across her chest, covering up the beautiful sight.

Justice went to put his arm around her waist, and she pulled free from him. “I’m still mad at you,” she said, pointing her finger. He gave her a little frown and looked at the floor like a sad god damn puppy. No one had ever gotten Justice to just submit like that before. It was fucking weird.

“Can I see the fangs?” I asked, breaking the silence. Fangs were hot as fuck.

She barely opened her mouth. She had two fangs, one on each side. Fuck, I wanted her to bite me. “Hungry?” I asked, holding out my arm for her.

“No thanks, I’m very full right now.” She smiled and quickly looked at Justice under her lashes. She didn’t seem that mad at him.

“Make sure you only feed in private so no other demons see,” Jax added.

“Yeah, because we always want to live our life hiding to keep up a lie. That sounds like a terrible idea, and since I don’t get an opinion about us; you don’t get an opinion about me,” Morrigan bit back at Jax.

This was the most exciting thing to have happened to me since the werewolf bit my junk. I watched Jax for his reaction. Jax didn’t let anyone tell him anything, unless you were more powerful than him. She was a hell of a lot more powerful than him, or would be one day.

Jax met her gaze with a look of fiery hatred. I’m pretty sure they were having one of those mental conversations, or else this was just a long stare off.

Morrigan raised her eyebrows at him, and I found my gaze ping-ponging between them. I leaned over towards Justice again. “Got any idea what’s going on?” I whispered.

He leaned in and whispered, “He’s still denying his feelings toward her. I can feel the angst rolling off him.”

“I have other shit to do,” Jax huffed as he turned and left.

“Yeah, I should head to bed,” Morrigan said cautiously.

“I thought maybe you would like to check in on your little dragon. Have you thought up a name yet?” I suggested. I set up the machine to send me updates and notifications as well. The little guy was growing strong in there.

I watched as her face lit up and she headed over to the incubator. Justice followed along after her slowly. The boy was so fucking whipped after just one time being with her. Fuck, I couldn’t wait for my turn.

“Still no name. I want to look at him first and see what fits, I guess,” she said, looking at the monitor and checking the stats. The egg inside was about as big as a peach. It was all white with a splash of red on top. I had held enough dragon eggs to know it looked rough but felt like glass to the touch. It would have fire abilities from me, but we wouldn’t know what kind until he emerged.
