“Yes, just come back up here.”The red around her eyes cast her skin in a light crimson, highlighting all her expressions. She was a sexy nightmare. She smiled and her fangs were visible for a moment. Fuck, they were hot, too.
She grabbed Jasper around the back of his neck, pulling him forward so she could whisper in his ear. Justice was next as they detached from one another, and she led them back up the stairs. I noticed several demons around with their phones out, taking pictures and recording videos. Nothing like getting a glimpse into the seedy life of a royal, except every outlandish thing you do brings you more love from the other demons.
Morrigan plopped into the booth and Jasper and Justice immediately sandwiched her. They began kissing her neck, spreading her legs wide between them. She stared straight ahead as she allowed them to ravage her.
“Are you watching?”She breathed. Her eyelids were half closed as she absorbed all the pleasure the two of them were giving her.
“Yes,”I breathed.
Her dress curtained in front, shielding me from seeing exactly what they were doing, but considering their hand placement, I would imagine she had one, if not both of them, finger fucking her. She pulled Jasper in roughly and bit his neck, feeding ravenously until she tipped her head back and moaned as she came at merely their touch. Blood covered her face. She looked like a damn queen.
Justice and Jasper eased off her, giving her a little space to calm down. A towel even appeared courtesy of Hell. She was blood free, but crystal paint intact, after just a few swipes.
“Did you enjoy your show?”I don’t even think she knew how seductive her voice sounded.
I came back out from the shadows for a while, slowly stalking forward. The booth was concave, so I sat next to Jasper, which put me across enough from Morrigan that I could hear her, but not close enough to allow touching.
“Oh babe, I hope you would only consider that an appetizer. The opening act to the show, if you will. What was it you said to me? ‘Tension, anticipation, passion, hunger.’”I was no stranger to buildup, which was my favorite part. Most of it’s mental.
“Does that mean you want to see more? Because that was your show, not mine.” She quipped back with a smirk. She had a lot more confidence now than when she first arrived, but I could see the fire inside her even then. She was my queen, and she needed a crown.
“I want a lot of things. I want to do a lot of things. I will always want to see your face when you come apart,” I said, using a low growl. My fucked up vocal cords were always a bit growly, anyway. Only father could permanently scar an immortal body.
“So, skip the rest of the evening and show Jax our nest?” Justice asked, drumming his fingertips on the table.
“I’m sure Mor here wanted to enjoy her night out. We don’t need to go home and fuck right now; and it’s called the pack cave, not a nest.” Jasper signaled for another round of drinks.
Loud ringing sounded as the urgent tone beeped on all three of our phones simultaneously. Fuck. Seriously? He couldn’t give us a single fucking night together before he summoned us for some bullshit mission.
“Lucifer demands our presence immediately.” Justice rolled his eyes.
“What?” Mor gasped, looking around for validation.
“I worried about this. Nothing good comes for free, not when you enter a deal with the devil,” I sighed, moving to stand. “Let’s go see what we need to do.”
CHAPTER24
MORRIGAN
“Ido apologize,” Lucifer said lazily, slumped across his throne. The dude had to just do that to fuck with people, because there is no way that would be comfortable all damn day.
I watched his eyes roam my body, and he gave me a Cheshire grin.
“Are things working better now, Treasure?”Lucifer hummed into my head. His voice was powerful. I felt a sort of relief in his company. I was most likely wrong, though, so I would need to always watch my back.
“Things were going well until you summoned us. Yet, earlier today you said you would give us time to get more powerful.”I barely managed not to roll my eyes.
“Confidence looks delicious on you, Morrigan,” Lucifer stroked the words before he let them caress his lips. He sure enjoyed the drama.
I felt the air charging from all my men behind me. They would fight the devil himself for me. Or at least Justice would, “It’s fine, let it go,”I hissed in his mind as he readied to lunge.
His body relaxed slightly, but only a little.
Lucifer smiled, “I am very confident that with your newfound power of confidence you will succeed in this urgent human matter.”
“Are you serious? Is it really a case?”We had talked about it a little during our first meeting. Lucifer had been really cool; in that perfect ‘big brother you always imagined but never got’ kind of way. Then he got a little dark sometimes. Guess I’ll have to learn to roll with it.
“Not just a case, your case. Your hometown humans are being taken. It just got flagged as a supernatural anomaly, which makes it a demon concern. Angels can’t find the souls, that’s a problem.”
