“Can you open the door, fox?” he asked, his eyes searching mine.
The doorway was open. Wide open, “it’s the collar,” I said, pulling on it for emphasis.
Justice traced the smooth metal with his finger, walking around to the back of my neck and inspecting the lock. Jasper appeared. He had been standing behind Justice.
“Hey, princess,” he said in that silky smooth low tone of his. It made my toes curl every time I heard it.
“Hey, hot stuff,” I said with a smile. He wasn’t wearing that shirt, of course, but he was dressed casually.
“I can take this off you when we get back to Hell,” Justice said, fitting himself up behind me.
Jasper fitted against my front before coming in for a slow and sensual kiss that gave me promises on top of more promises. He stopped before I was ready, leaning back, so I had to chase him with my lips. Justice grabbed my arms and held them behind my back firmly.
Jasper moved to the side to reveal Jax. He looked at me with suspicion on an otherwise broken face.
“Why didn’t you leave?” he asked, not bothering to come closer to me until we figured some things out.
“I couldn’t. For the first few days they locked me in a magical prison until I was too weak to fight back when this,” I lifted my chin high to show off my fashion piece. “Was put on me, which is like a mini version of that magical prison thing, except I can use my power. I just can’t feel my mate bonds anymore.”
“Then why do you think you have a vampire mate, fox?” Justice hummed from behind me. He wasn’t mad at all. His grip on me was more reassuring than anything else.
“I would fuck him,” I said, looking at Jasper. He’s the one that said I couldn’t even want that without them being my mate.
I could feel Justice chuckling from behind my back. “Jax will not like being last,” he whispered in my ear.
“I didn’t fuck him.” I said out loud so all the boys could hear. “I wanted to talk to you all about it first. I only orgasmed the once, when he bit me.” I wanted to make sure they at least knew what happened. “Oh, and we kissed, it was a pretty passionate kiss.” I’m pretty sure I fucked that up.
Jax still hadn’t moved closer to me.
“Jax, come here, please. I won’t touch you.” I was silenced as Jax pushed hard on the air on either side of my throat, effectively shutting me up.
He strode forward with determination in his gaze.
“Do you want him in place of me?” he asked, his tone entirely calm. I wished I had this fucking collar off me so I could hearmyJax.
“No. Of course not.” It horrified me that Jax would think that. I know we hadn’t exactly made it far into our relationship yet, but that didn’t mean I ever just wanted to trade one for some new shiny model. We were together for eternity.
I felt Justice release my hands, and I wasn’t sure what that meant. I raised my hand between us slowly, so he knew my hands were free. He didn’t make a move.
“Do you want me to touch you, Jax?” I whispered, allowing myself to get as close as possible. I could feel the hum of energy from his skin as it passed into the space between us. Charging the particles, making them dance in the anticipation of our touch.
“You feel different now,” Jax whispered.
“I’m a full vampire now.” I said with a smile.
“And you have a vampire mate as well as us, demon mates,” he said with a smile that seemed pained.
“I think so, but I will not leave you guys. I was trying to escape tonight. I’ve really been training and gathering more power and doing recon. I figured out there’s a portal about twenty miles north of here. I had a bit of a hiccup when Jace figured out I was trying to escape. But he was acting weird since he drank my blood, and then tonight he called me mate. I’m thinking it’s not one-sided.” I wasn’t sure how realm apart mating went, but I’m pretty sure Jace would need to give up his kingdom if he wanted to be with me and the boys.
“I’m going to kiss you. You may touch me.” Jax said as his hands reached for me, pulling my body tightly against his. He hissed as if our contact caused him physical pain, but he did not hesitate to jump back in and kiss me until my mind blanked out. I tried not to move my arms much, having decided in his hair was a relatively safe place.
“When we get home, I get you for three days straight.” Jax muttered against my lips, and I smiled.
“I really don’t want you all fighting. You can share me with them for as many days as you want. How about that?” I pulled his head away so I could look into his eyes. I think they were brighter than before.
“Is the vampire allowed in the harem as long as he moves with us to Hell?” I asked, my head up and high to address all my boys.
“I’m fine with another vampire in the pack,” Jasper said with a smile.
