MICHAEL
I hadn’t planned on opening my Tryst app when I got into town, but after a few hours in the company owned loft, I was looking for something, anything to pass the time. I couldn’t have imagined that they first girl I swiped on, would end up a match in more ways than one. I’ve never connected with anyone quicker than I have with Fiona.
She seemed unsure about the whole date at first when she arrived, despite her response on the app sounding so excited to meet up. And her picture, there is something different about that too, but I can’t put my finger on it. Photo Fiona is obviously beautiful, but real-life Fiona took my breath away when she walked in tonight. The snug fit of her dress against her soft hour glass curves had my dick practically springing to life at the sight of her. I guess I have to chalk it up to the fact that photos just don’t do her justice. That or she’s two different people.
We talk for hours, completely oblivious to the fact that place is closing around us until our waitress points out this fact.
“I just want to let you both know that we are closing in fifteen minutes.”
“Oh, thank you.” Fiona smiles apologetically and reaches for her purse.
But I’m quicker to get my wallet out and stuffing a few bills in the bill fold and handing it to the waitress.
“No change,” I tell her and she nods.
“Thank you for dinner.”
“My pleasure.”
I both love and hate this part of the evening. The easygoing mood from earlier is wiped away and replaced with anxiety riddled dance of what’s going to happen next. I know what I want to happen.
“Any interested in taking a walk?” I ask. “It’s a nice night out.”
A look I can’t read flashes on her face, but it’s gone just as quickly.
“What would Cherry do?” Fiona mumbles under breath. At least that’s what I think she’s said.
“Who’s Cherry?”
“Oh nothing,” she says standing up. “I think a walk would be nice.”
“Good,” I say and follow her outside. “Would you mind if we stop and grabbed Denny? I know that he’d love a chance to stretch his legs.”
We walk the couple blocks to my loft and I run inside to get him. He’s already waiting at the door, when he hears me fiddling with the lock. I’m greeted by Black Lab’s wildly wagging tail and happy smile to see me.
“Hey buddy,” I kneel and let him get a couple licks in before I grab his leash and click it on. “Okay, this girl is special. I need you to be on your best behavior. We don’t want you scaring her off, okay?”
Denny barks his response and I scratch quickly behind his ears.
He’s so eager to get outside that he leads me out of the apartment and back down to the street. His excitement doubles when he sees Fiona standing there waiting.
You can judge a lot about a person’s character by the way that they treat animals and how animals react to them.
Fiona doesn’t shy away from Denny. Instead she perks up when she sees him running down the steps to her and she bends down to scratch behind his ears like they are old friends. And before I can stop him, Denny jumps up onto her like he wants to give her a hug. Fiona laughs and leans in, letting him lick her nose.
“I think he likes me,” she says, stepping back to catch her balance.
“Denny, down,” I say.
He drops down to all fours, his tail still wagging wildly as he looks eagerly between the two of us.
“Sorry about that.”
“It’s fine.” She smiles at Denny. “I think I found my new best friend.”
We walk him the few blocks to the small allotment that the city set aside for a dog park. Technically it looks closed, but I don’t plan on us sticking around too long, just enough to let Denny burn off some energy.
