That big lug would be down for anything—even if she’d asked us to mount giant sea horses and race.

Hades, on the other hand…

Stephanie stuck her bottom lip out and cupped his cheek. “Aw, come on, Had. You love dancing.”

“Withyou. I love dancing with you, Steph.” He dragged his fingertip over the bridge of her nose.

“Only difference here is that it would beforme?” An innocent smile crept over her lips.

Hades sighed and jutted his chin at us. “And them.”

“They should feel so lucky.” Stephanie shimmied her shoulders.

After kissing Keira’s neck, I stood with my wine goblet in hand. Poseidon followed behind me, and Hades reluctantly lifted from his chair after the two of us stared him down.

“What are we—” I started, spinning on my heel with one hand in my pocket.

Keira rested her elbow on the table, chin in her hand, and snapped her fingers with a sly grin. The song Pony by Ginuwine started playing from a set of non-existent ethereal speakers. The bass sounds echoing from the stone pillars of Olympus.

I flashed a feral gaze in her direction, knowing all too well why she’d chosen it. Her salacious pussy eating dream she had about me before we were officially together. I’d have to smack her in the ass later to remind her of what a naughty, naughty girl she was.

What ensued from us brotherly god-kings couldn’t exactly have been donned as “sexy” per se. I kept my wine in hand at all times, swiveling my hips to the beat, pelvic thrusting at Keira here and there, but aiming to not make a total ass of myself. Poseidon behind us on the other hand, as per his usual, went all out—almost too much.

He dropped to the ground, doing exaggeratedMagic Mikemoves and did some form of jumping jacks in between, grinning like the silly ass fool he was. Hades stopped several times to watch the sea-god’s antics, raising a brow, and shaking his head at him. With Hades’ reluctance to participate in said dance, he almost upstaged me with his mini strip tease of slinking his black robes over his shoulders only to tease and pull it back up.

We did our queens’ bidding and danced for them for the duration of the song, and afterward, we continued to drink and gorge ourselves into the wee hours of the night. We’d gone so far off the tracks Keira made several cots appear, and three queens wrapped tightly in their kings’ arms, slept with the halls of Olympus watching over them—a family.

K E I R A

We all awoke the following day from the warming sun casting shades of pink and purple hues across the Olympus sky as it rose. We were in no danger of sleeping out in the elements here—on Mount Olympus. The idea almost seemed absurd. No one had access to our little sliver of life in the clouds—except the Titans, of course, but they were a distant memory ever since Zeus entrapped them beneath the Earth.

I purred and yawned, rubbing my face against Zeus’s chest, and trailing my fingers through his long silver beard. “Thank you for doing this, babe.”

Zeus grumbled and rubbed my shoulder, his other hand a makeshift pillow behind his head. “Don’t mention it, sweetheart. We needed this.Allof us.”

“Thanatos would kill us if his death powers worked on us,” Stephanie screeched as she jolted awake.

Hades rubbed his face. “For which reason? He had to supervise a few wandering souls or clean up dog shit the size of bowling balls?”

I burst out laughing at the thought. Defecation amongst deities was never the first thought to spring into my mind, let alone of the canine variety.

“Zeus, we should be heading back. Do you need us for anything else?” Hades swept an arm around himself, tidying up his robes, hair and removing the dark bags under his eyes.

Zeus shook his head, still lounging next to me, his sandaled feet crossed at the ankles, bouncing. “You’re good to go, brother.” He nodded at Stephanie. “Stephanie.”

Stephanie sprinted across the room to first hug me and then a groggy Cordelia, who had only woken up from our loud chatter. “This was so incredibly fun. Which holiday are we going to do next? Hades said you wanted to do this quarterly?” Her eyes beamed, their cranberry coloring sparkling.

“Valentine’s Day could be fun.” I grinned at him, bobbing my eyebrows.

He narrowed his eyes at me before playfully biting my shoulder. “How about a welcoming of spring instead?”

“I vote for that one,” Poseidon added.

Stephanie laughed and bowed her head. “Whatever gets us all together, and the view from up here is breathtaking.”

I frowned at the thought. Any view in comparison must’ve been a relief for them given the dreariness of the Underworld—even the Elysian Fields had its limits.
