“Bathroom. Use whatever you want. You have twelve minutes to come down.” He headed out of the bedroom.
“Wait, we don’t have a clock!”
I hopped out of bed and groaned as my body protested.
“Come on, guys.”
“Fuck that. You will have to drag me out of this bed,” Dar said. He turned his head into the pillow.
I sighed. “He said he’s making food.”
Dar lifted his head. “What kind?”
Food was the one thing neither of them would turn down, especially Dar.
“Won’t know till we’re showered and downstairs,” I said, already moving.
“Is it customary for one-night stands to make breakfast after fucking your brains out?” Sayge sat up, his body covered in bite marks and hickeys. The cover slipped off, and bruises decorated his hips in the form of fingerprints. My heart fluttered, and heat pooled in my abdomen. He hadn’t held back. Taking in all the markings on Sayge, it almost felt like he’d branded him.
I glanced down. I wasn’t that much better. My heartbeat picked up as I counted every marking, and my body remembered how I’d received each one. My fingers brushed along a bite mark on my hip. Shock waves of pleasure rolled over me and pulled a moan out of my lips.
“We have twelve. Well, make it eleven minutes now,” I said as I pulled my hand away from the marks. If I kept touching them, I would end up back in bed.
No, I couldn’t.
I was given directions and planned to follow them.
“How in the hell are we supposed to know how much time has passed?” Dar growled.
“Sing the happy birthday song.”
They both looked at me like I was insane, but I was already singing in my head as I turned the shower on. The hot spray of water rained down on me, and I couldn’t deny it felt fantastic. I usually loathed the hot water, especially during the summer, but how sore my entire body was, the heat helped soothe the ache.
“Fuck, my ass hurts,” Dar said.
“Maybe because you kept pushing him?”
Sayge laughed and joined us in the shower. He grabbed the soap that smelled of the man they’d called daddy.
“It was fun, right?” Sayge teased, pouring soap into his hand before passing it over.
I took it, unwilling to answer that question. My mind was focused on one thing, getting cleaned up.
“Hell yeah. Think he’d be up for a repeat?” Dar asked.
“No,” I said before either one of them could get ahead of themselves. “This was a one-time thing.”
Sayge sighed. “But you liked it. And you kissed him this morning.”
He was also covered in blood.I turned away from them and washed my body. “It’s dangerous. We took a huge risk last night. Let’s get out of here, and then we can figure out what’s next.”
I could feel their eyes on me, but I knew what was best.
“Okay, Cal, but you have to admit he was far better than we expected,” Sayge said.
My shoulders sank, and I glanced over at him. “Yes, he was.”
“Ha! See, I knew he liked it,” Dar said. He gave Sayge a high five, and I ignored the two of them. They were my best friends, but they were insane some days.
