“What?” Ken cocked a brow at me. He’d always seemed to understand things I didn’t.

“He’s been doing that since we got here,” Novak complained.

“The boys asked me for a date,” I said.

Ken’s eyes widened. “And you have no idea what to do.”

“Hey!” Officer Rodger stood up, and I moved, pulling my gun out and ramming the gun’s butt against his nose. The crack echoed around the room, and his nasal shout followed shortly after. He fell back into the bed. His wife screamed, clinging to him as Officer Rodger attempted to stop the gushing blood.

I turned my focus back on Ken. “I have a few ideas.”

Ken shook his head. “If your idea has anything to do with killing or torturing, toss them out.”

My brows furrowed. Dar might like it, but the other two? The image of all three of them covered in blood turned my cock hard, and I wanted to return home soon.

I never had that feeling before. Yet, now that I had my three boys in my life, many things I hadn’t felt before were surfacing. Some I still couldn’t name.

“I’ll take that into consideration.”

Novak shook his head next to me. “You are going to scar them for life.”

I’d forever be with them then. They’d never be able to live without thinking about me.Why wouldn’t that be appealing?

“What did they ask for?” Ken asked.

“A fight, dinner, and kink.” I listed everything off, but they hadn’t given me much to work with.

“Never thought I’d say this, but I swear you’ve found your perfect matches,” Novak said.

The corners of my lips tugged up in a smile. That I had.

“Shit, just tell us what you want,” Officer Rodger said.

I’d nearly forgotten they were there. My smile dropped once more. He just had to ruin my mood.

“Shipments unauthorized by us took place, but they have your signature. I’m here to remind you that partnering with anyone behind our backs will only result in your death.” My gaze flicked to his wife. “Or your family’s.”

Rodger sat up straighter. “I’m not.” He pinched his nose, his gaze jumping to each of us until he focused on me.

It wasn’t my first time visiting him, but it was the first time I’d been in his home. Where his wife and children slept.

“Are you saying I got it wrong?” I asked.

Rodger visibly shrank back. His fear showed in his eyes. “No...I mean, yes.”

I cocked a brow at him and caulked my gun. His wife screamed, and I contemplated killing her just to have her shut up. Novak’s twin Devyn moved and pulled her from the bed, kicking her, screams now muffled.

“Wait, don’t hurt her,” Rodger begged.

“Why did you approve the latest trucks? There are twice the amount of drugs that don’t belong to the Laureatis.”

Rodger trembled from head to toe as he looked away from his wife and back to me. “I got a message like normal with the truck numbers and times.”

The old man wasn’t going to like this. I stood there staring at him, waiting for him to change his story. I nodded at Devyn. He placed the gun against Rodger’s wife’s temple. He turned around at the sound of her cries becoming louder.

“I swear, please, let her go.” Rodger scrambled for his nightstand, pulling it apart. The drawer’s contents flew out and scattered all over the floor. He reached further in, pulled out the phone, and held it out for me with shaking hands. “Here. I…I haven’t deleted the newest ones yet. They come in next week on Tuesday.”

I glanced at Novak, and he grabbed the phone, checking it over. Rodger glanced back over at his wife, who seemed to quiet down.
