I sagged in my seat and let them have their moment now that I knew they wouldn’t end up arguing. I clicked the phone on and smiled when I found Elio’s number. It was saved under Daddy. Staring at it made me giddy.

Angel: Hey, we need clothes. Think we can go shopping?

I didn’t expect a text back for a while. Sometimes Elio was quick with the reply, but if he was busy, it could be hours before I heard back from him.

Elio: Send me all the brands you three like.

Angel: Any brand?

I bit my lip as I sat up straighter. I knew Elio had money. I mean, he paid us a crap ton the first night we met.Still, could we really have anything we wanted? It was almost too good to be true.

“Why are you drooling?” Dar asked.

I glanced away from the phone and touched my face. “I’m not drooling.”

Dar laughed and sat down with a plate of food. “Yeah, okay, so what’s got you all excited?”

Calvin placed another mug of tea down for Dar along with a glass of water. He’d always been good at taking care of us, but it was different now. Not all the responsibility was placed on his shoulders. Calvin was free to be himself and at ease because no matter what, Elio took care of anything we needed. At least for now.

“Elio said we could pick any brands for shopping,” I said, showing both of them the text.

The phone vibrated.

Elio: I told you I don’t like repeating myself. That includes text.

Even through text, he was daddy. I groaned and hurriedly replied.

Angel: Sorry, daddy. Maybe you should remind me when you get home.

Dar laughed, nearly choking on the food he was shoveling into his mouth at a breakneck pace. I doubt he’d ever stop eating as if his food would disappear at any moment. It was conditioned into him.

“I’ll wear whatever Elio picks out,” Calvin said.

I grinned at him and grabbed his wrist before he could walk away. “You mean, anything daddy picks out for you?”

A blush took over Calvin’s face, and I wanted to poke at him more. He nodded as he looked away.

If anything, he was more the angel out of our group. I let him go and grabbed the phone.

Angel: Calvin said he would wear whatever daddy wanted him to.

“Sayge!” Calvin’s face turned even redder, and I couldn’t help myself as I snapped a picture and sent it to Elio.

Calvin groaned. “Really?”

“What? You look cute, and Elio really likes it when you blush,” I pointed out.

“He looks like a wolf about to catch its prey,” Dar added.

Calvin’s eyes widened. He was freaking cute. I wanted to bite him. Either he saw it in my eyes or knew me too well. Calvin broke free of my hold and took a few steps away from me.

“Dar, I need your shirt,” Cal said.

I stuck out my bottom lip and stared at Calvin. “Just a tiny nibble.”

“Use your pout on someone else.” Calvin grabbed Dar’s shirt and placed it in the basket along with all the other laundry. He went about his business, practically skipping.

I sighed and returned to my tea, moaning as I took another mouthful.
