Keep interfering, and I will kill you.

A smile stretched across my face, I was helpless to keep from showing. Andino took a step away from me, and rightfully so. Maybe it was his survival instinct kicking in finally.

“Never mind. You know what, I must’ve drank a little too much.” He scratched the back of his neck and looked anywhere but at me.

My inner monster calmed down as the promise of bloodshed at my hands disappeared.

“I think I’m going to head home,” Andino said.

“You do that.”

Andino turned away from me with fear in his eyes as he practically ran away. I shook my head and headed for the exit, more than ready to go home and wash the stench off me.

White-silver hair flashed in front of me. The dancer I’d spotted when coming in was walking right past me. His head turned, and dark blue eyes met mine as he stumbled. Before I knew it, my arm was wrapped around a slender waist, and a hand was in mine. I blinked and stared down at the angel who had caught my attention the moment I arrived.

Dark blue eyes that looked like a moonless night stared back at me. “I, um.”

His lips were a soft pink shimmering with gloss. Around his eyes was a light dusting of pink, making him look even more innocent. His face didn’t have a hint of stubble.

“Excuse me.” His voice was airy and tempting.

For some reason, it felt off. My head tilted to the side as I tried to figure out why.

“Um—”

“Hey, hands off,” a rougher voice said.

I glanced away from the beauty in my arms only to see the other two I’d spotted headed my way. Ken was only a few steps behind them, but I shook my head.

“Can you fucking hear?” The angrier one growled.

Sexy.

I pulled the man back up and righted him, my hands lingering on him longer than normal. He was soft to the touch, but I could feel his lean muscles’ hard ridges. He wasn’t just pillowy.

“What the fuck.” A hot hand wrapped around my wrist and jerked my hand away.

“Dar,” the other one said. “Let him go before we get kicked out.” He glanced around nervously. His dirty blond hair flopped over his forehead.

Dar listened to him, and I had to try hard to keep the frown off my face. I wanted to see what he would do to me. The promise of danger in his gray eyes enticed me far more than they should have.

“Sayge, you okay?” the man who seemed to be in charge of the small group asked.

“Yeah, he actually helped me,” Sayge said. His dark blue eyes turned back on me, and a flirtatious smile curved his lips. “Thank you.” He moved closer, and a sweet cherry smell wafted off him; it was far better than the other scents around us.

I didn’t hesitate as I grabbed the back of Sayge’s neck and yanked him closer. Breathing him in, I had the urge to drag him out of there and devour him.

“Shit, back up,” Dar growled.

Before he could pull me away from the beauty in my hold, I caught his wrist, twisted him around, and pulled him into my side, effectively pinning both his arms. Unlike Sayge, Dar had more of a minty scent about him. His black hair was wild but freshly washed. I imagined running my fingers through it and trying to tame those crazy locks.

“The fuck!”

“Let them both go now,” the other one said. He was the only one whose name I didn’t know.

“What is your name?”

Dar squirmed in my hold, and I frowned before he brought his foot down on mine. The pain was instant, but he’d be sorely mistaken if he thought it would make me let him go.
