“Say my name again,” he murmurs against my neck, his breath hot and tantalizing. His hand slides up my side, grazing the curve of my breast, and I arch into him, my body desperate for more.

“Cole,” I breathe, my voice trembling with need. I can’t think, can’t speak. All I know is that I want him closer, need him closer.

“You’re mine,” he growls, his hands tightening on me as if to prove his point. “You don’t know it yet, but you’re mine, Sadie.”

The possessiveness in his voice sends a thrill racing through me. I should protest, should say something reasonable, but I can’t. Not when he’s kissing me like this, his lips and tongue claiming me in ways I didn’t know were possible.

His hand slides down, gripping my thigh, and he lifts me easily. My legs wrap around his waist, and I gasp at the feel of him—hard, hot, and completely overwhelming. His body presses into mine, pinning me against the wall, and I swear I’ve never felt anything so good in my life.

“Damn, you’re perfect,” he mutters, his lips brushing against my ear. His voice is rough, raw, and it makes my whole body hum with anticipation. “You don’t even know what you’re doing to me.”

I don’t. But I’m starting to understand. My fingers grip his shoulders, my nails digging into his skin as he kisses me again, harder this time, more desperate. His hands roam over me, exploring, claiming, and I can’t get enough.

“Cole,” I whisper when we finally break apart, our breaths mingling in the cool stable air. “I…”

“Don’t talk,” he says, his forehead resting against mine. His voice is softer now, but the intensity in his gaze is anything but. “Just… let me.”

And I do. Because in this moment, there’s nothing else I want more. And I’m not sure if I can leave this place now.

Chapter Six

Cole

The scent of hay and leather is thick in the air, but it’s nothing compared to her. Sadie, standing in the dim light of the stable, her hair a wild mess, cheeks flushed, and those eyes staring at me like I’m the only man who’s ever existed. She’s stunning. Perfect. And she’s mine.

I grab her waist, pulling her close until her soft curves press against me. My lips crash against hers, no hesitation, no second thoughts. Her mouth opens for me, and I taste her sweet, innocent heat. It’s intoxicating. Addictive. I don’t think I could stop kissing her even if I wanted to—and I don’t want to. Not now. Not ever.

She moans softly, her hands fisting my shirt as I deepen the kiss, sliding one hand into her hair while the other grips her hip. The sound goes straight to my cock, making it harder than it’s ever been. I’m throbbing, desperate, needing her like air.

I pull back just enough to catch my breath, resting my forehead against hers. “Sadie,” I growl, my voice rough with need, “you’re driving me insane.”

Her lips are swollen, her breath uneven, but there’s something in her eyes—hesitation. “Cole…” she whispers, her voice trembling. “I’ve never done this before.”

It takes me a second to understand, but when I do, it hits me like a punch to the chest. “You’re a virgin?” My voice softens, but inside, I’m reeling. She’s untouched. Mine. And the weight of that has me wanting to worship her right here in the hay.

She nods, biting her lip. “I saved myself,” she whispers. “I didn’t know what for… but now I do.”

Jesus Christ. My throat tightens, and I feel like I’ve just been handed the rarest treasure in the world. “You saved yourself for me.” It’s not a question—it’s a declaration. She’s mine, and I’m going to make her feel every inch of what that means.

“I’ll take care of you, Sadie,” I murmur, cupping her face in my hands. “You’re perfect, and you’ll never regret this. I swear it.”

She looks at me with those big, trusting eyes, and I kiss her again, slower this time, letting her feel exactly how much she means to me. Her body melts against mine, and I guide her gently down onto the soft hay.

“You’re so beautiful,” I whisper against her lips, my hand trailing over her curves. “You have no idea what you do to me.”

Her cheeks flush even deeper, but she doesn’t look away. “I feel the same way, Cole.”

Hearing her say that is my undoing. I kiss her again, and this time, there’s no hesitation. I’m hers just as much as she’s mine.

Sadie stands before me, her hair wild, her cheeks flushed, and her eyes so full of trust it guts me. She’s perfect, and I’m going to show her just how much she means to me.

I step closer, my hands trailing up her sides, feeling the curve of her waist. My lips crash into hers again, and she melts into me, her fingers curling into my shirt as if she can’t bear to let go. I don’t ever want her to.

I break away just enough to look into her eyes. “Take this off,” I say, my voice low and rough as I tug at her shirt and jeans.

She swallows hard but doesn’t hesitate. With trembling hands, she pulls it over her head, revealing the soft skin of her stomach and the delicate lace of her bra. And then she shimmies out of her pants and boots.

She’s stunning—innocent and sexy all at once. That jade green push-up bra she has on, is doing God’s work, lifting her full, luscious breasts so perfectly they’re practically begging for my attention. The lace is delicate, barely containing those gorgeous curves, and the hint of her nipples pressing against the fabric makes my mouth water.
