“How you made me come...” She threw her arms around him, her lips inches from his. “So many times …” She moved to press her lips against his, but he ducked his head.
He let out a sigh. “Not like this. Not when you’re drunk.”
Two gasps followed, shocking her out of her drunken bubble because those noises didn’t come from Dominic. Two heads bobbed out from behind a bush near the pathway.
“So,that’swhat happened,” Stefanos said slowly, coming into her hazy view. Miranda paced around, waggling a finger in her direction. “I knew it …. I knew something was up. I knew you lied about last weekend.”
Before Eleni could answer, Dominic cupped her chin and made her face him. “Please come with me,” he begged. “This concerns you.”
She was so tired, so lethargic, so drunk, that all she could do was put her arms around him and lean against the wall of his chest.
