“I’m sorry to disturb your class, Professor Namiad,” Miss Bellthrove chirped, adjusting her thick round glasses. “I just wanted to ask you to excuse Mr. Leveau, Mr. Weir, and Miss Black from the lecture. I need them to come with me.”

Immediately, Andro tensed at Blaze’s side.

“I thought you did damage control,” Blaze whispered to his friend.

Andro swallowed hard, nodding as he watched Blaze with wide eyes. “I fucking did.”

Blaze rolled his eyes, rising to his feet. “Well, apparently, not well enough.”

Their parents weren’t in the Dean’s office, so Blaze considered that as a good sign.

If the Dean didn’t want to bother the Alumni with their children’s poor behavior, it meant that they weren’t in any real trouble.

Yet, Andro’s knee bounced like crazy as three of them sat on the sofa, waiting for the Dean to call them in.

“Will you fucking stop?” Blaze pinched the bridge of his nose as his palm landed on Andro’s bouncing knee.

“I don’t know howyoucan be so fucking calm,” Andro hissed. “I’ve talked with everyone who was there. I made sure that nobody will speak or they’re going to regret it.”

The bouncing eased, so Blaze removed his hand, tucking it under his armpit.

“Well, that’s so sweet of you, Andro,” Alecto teased, a smirk gracing her calm face. She didn’t look bothered by being called into the Dean’s office either. “Sweet conversations definitely always work.”

Andro shot her a glance. “At least I didn’t try strangling people.”

“What are you talking about?” Blaze blinked.

Alecto inspected her crimson nails as she said, “There was a small incident with Rebecca Moon. Nothing me and Val couldn’t handle.”

Now Blaze was interested.

How come he hadn’t heard about it from Val?

“Or maybe you’re here because Rebecca actually went to the Dean, bitch,” Andro scoffed, the bouncing back on.

“She definitely didn’t.”

Blaze didn’t think she could be more beautiful, but with that satisfied, sinister look, Alecto looked like the fucking goddess of his dreams.

“You’re evil,” Blaze teased.

Alecto rolled her eyes.

Before Blaze even had the chance to catch her gaze, her eyes darted to the floor, cheeks suddenly flushed. Alecto shifted in her seat, crossing her legs, and Blaze barely held a laugh back.

Ah, this was too sweet.

She felt uncomfortable in his presence, probably remembering him kneeling in front of her, her thigh draped over his shoulder as he feasted on her.

Sparks of pleasure went through Blaze, and he shifted in his seat himself, dropping one ankle over his leg as the vivid memories brought a stronger reaction out of him than he expected.

Right then, the door to the Dean’s office opened, and Gabe appeared, Matias trailing right after him.

There was no mistaking the smug expression on Gabe’s face.

“Please come on in,” the Dean said.
