Blaze only chuckled, his breath skittering over her sensitive skin. “Please, continue.”

“No obligations, no strings,” Alecto continued, panting now as the tension built rapidly inside her. “I’m going to use your body, and you’re going to use mine.”

For a long moment, Blaze didn’t answer. Alecto’s neck was devoid of his lips now, of the warm breath, but he pressed a thumb over Alecto’s clit, making her melt under his touch.

The things those wicked fingers did to Alecto were worth committing every sin in the world.

“And how about your little issue with sharing?” Blaze finally asked.

Biting her lip, Alecto pulled his face to hers so she could look him in the eye as she said, “I don’t need to know about your business outside our arrangement.”

Blaze blinked lazily, his eyes roaming her face. There was a question written all over his features before he even opened his mouth to speak. “And how about you, baby?”

Alecto had to bite the inside of her cheek again to stop herself from laughing. She released a soft moan, willing her hips to start moving, chasing his fingers.

Witches were accustomed to sharing, rarely settling for one lover at the time. It was their whole belief, that love had no boundaries, no single master.

And yet there was that possessive flicker in Blaze’s eyes as he glared at Alecto, taking in her whole as if she were his and his alone. Alecto would have gotten mad, if she didn’t remember that all this was a game.

So, when she hooked a finger over Blaze’s chin, lifting it, instead of cursing him for being a possessive, hypocritical asshole, Alecto said, “A lady doesn’t kiss and tell.”

There was a flash of hurt, jealousy, and then something darker on Blaze’s face as he took in Alecto’s words. And then he crashed his lips into Alecto’s, claiming her mouth.

It wasn’t slow or teasing. It wasn’t gentle or loving. The way Blaze’s mouth moved, the way his lips and teeth clawed at Alecto’s mouth, was primal and harsh. Desperate even. As if Blaze were trying to tell her something he couldn’t speak out loud, willing her to understand it.

A first warning wave of warmth passed Alecto, and she retreated, gasping for air. Blaze’s hooded eyes dipped to where his fingers were moving, the other hand coming to caress her thigh.

“Come for me, baby.” His words were a whisper. So gentle and soft, filled with a genuine plea, that it was enough to tip Alecto over as her orgasm came crashing through her body.

Her nails dug into the back of his shoulders, her moan lost in Blaze’s mouth as he kissed her again. This time, he did it lazily and devoid of the possessive heat.

When Alecto stopped shaking and straightened her back, Blaze slowly slipped his fingers out and immediately brought them to his mouth. Still keeping Alecto’s gaze, he sucked them clean before licking his lips with a smirk.

Alecto could only stare mutely, his filthy actions stirring up a storm inside her, heat pooling between her thighs again. Before she had the time to act on it, though, the door cracked open without a knock, Val and Andro walking into the room midconversation.

“We’re going to do this—” Val’s words died in her throat as she took in the view of them on the windowsill, Alecto straddling Blaze’s lap.

Slowly, Val’s surprised gaze turned into something darker, a smirk curling one corner of her mouth. Andro looked like a mix between someone who had just seen a ghost and a dumbfound frat boy who had just realized his best friend scored a fucking goal.

“We’ve had that thing to go to, remember?” Val asked, leaning a shoulder on the doorjamb. “The meeting with the Dean and the leadership of the other Houses.”

Blaze cleared his throat. “Right, I remember.” But neither he nor Alecto made any moves to change positions.

Alecto’s cheeks were flaming, both from the embarrassment of being caught in such a position and from the afterglow. If Val and Andro had walked in a minute before, this would have been even more embarrassing.

But Alecto needed to finish this conversation, so she wasn’t going to leave. And Blaze had a boner that was very apparent for Alecto, who was in his lap, so he probably needed a moment for that.

Andro sucked in his lips as he fought very hard to swallow a laugh.

“Right. Well, then we’re going to be waiting downstairs for you guys,” Val said. “This saves us from having to go find Alecto.”

With one more dark glare towards them, Val whirled and walked away, leaving Andro to close the door as he exited.

“So,” Alecto said once they were alone again, before clearing her throat. She let her hands travel from Blaze’s shoulders to his hard chest. “Do we have an agreement?”

“We sure do, baby,” Blaze said, leaning his head back against the wall.

He didn’t make any moves to stand, and neither did Alecto. They both just stared at each other in silence, their bodies touching, as if they were both savoring this moment of peace.
