“So, who will take Norse’s role now that he’s locked up?” Blaze asked.
“It’s actually our Gael,” Alecto said. “Apparently, he was Madame Raquel’s second choice.”
“That’s acceptable,” Blaze said more to himself than to Alecto.
“What’s that supposed to mean?”
“Well, I’m totally alright with watching you pretend to be madly in love and make out with Gael on stage. He’s probably one of the very few guys on campus not interested in what’s under your skirt.”
Alecto came to a stop, crossing her arms. “Seriously?”
Blaze blinked. “Well, yes. I’m not going to pretend that I like the idea of another warlock sticking their tongue in your mouth and grabbing your ass.”
“Acting is my path,” Alecto said. “Which means that if we survive this and graduate Venefica, I’m going to be an actress. I will be with other witches on stage, of all genders. Are you going to be an asshole about me kissing them and pretending to be in love?”
Blaze grabbed the front of Alecto’s blazer and pulled her in. “I know you’ll be an actress. You will be a phenomenal one, and I will be there for every single performance.” Alecto tried to stifle a smile, but she wasn’t successful. “However, I will never like another witch kissing you, touching you, or even looking at you as if they’re in love with you.”
“That’s fine,” Alecto said. “You can hate it as much as you want, as long as you’re not letting those feeling interfere with my career.”
They continued the stroll, and Blaze said, “Never, baby. I would never want to be the reason for your misery again.”
Alecto kissed the outside of his palm resting on her shoulder. “Thank you. I, however, intend on being the sole reason for your misery moving forward.”
Blaze chuckled. “I’m more than happy for you to be the reason of my eternal misery.”
“So, is that why you came here to pick me up?” Alecto asked as they crossed Main Avenue. “To interrogate who will be my costar?”
Blaze shook his head. Alecto was about to walk towards their street, but he changed direction and led them towards the Sparkling Hoof.
“I have your mother’s journal. You left it in my room,” Blaze said. “I thought we could continue where we left off and see if we can find out more.”
“Look at you all smart and serious, Leveau,” Alecto said. She tilted her head towards him, asking for a kiss. Blaze gave her a peck on the lips. “It’s a good look on you.”
It felt good to be praised by her, to feel wanted. While Blaze loved how mean to him Alecto was, he also craved softness from time to time.
Instead of entering the Sparkling Hoof, Blaze led them to the small alley on the side. He took Alecto’s hand and made his way towards the fire escape on the side of the building.
“After you,” Blaze said, pointing at the metal ladder.
Alecto walked up to it and climbed two stairs. Then she looked over her shoulder and said, “I see you are still very much into looking up my skirt.”
Blaze gripped the ladder hard, looking up at her. “What can I say? I have my kinks.”
Alecto continued the climb. “What can I say? Today is your lucky day.”
Her hips swung from side to side, and Blaze couldn’t peel his eyes off her… When she climbed high enough for him to be able to look up her skirt, Blaze’s jaw dropped open—she wasn’t wearing any panties.
Alecto climbed up to the first landing before leaning over the railing to look down at Blaze. He pressed his forehead to the ladder, trying to calm the storm raging inside him.
“Are you coming or what?” Alecto’s voice was innocent, as if she had no idea what she’d just done.
Blaze cleared his throat and climbed the ladder. Alecto didn’t wait for him on the landing, and it was sort of a teasing chase where she was always a few steps ahead of him, and he got to enjoy the view of her delicious pussy out of reach—so close, yet so far away.
By the time they reached the roof, Blaze’s cock was hard and throbbing with painful desire.
Alecto braced her hands on her hips and looked at the view of Darly. “Oh, this is beautiful. I’ve never considered coming up here.”
Blaze hugged her from behind, pressing close to her body. He wrapped his arms around her waist and kissed the side of her neck. “The view is beautiful, especially in the evening when it’s dark.”
