Instead of answering, Blaze growled and hiked his hands all the way up her thighs to her hips. He blinked with surprise when he traced the line of her panties.

“Surprised?” Alecto chuckled.

“Always,” Blaze said. “Sit on my face.”

Before Alecto could answer, Blaze lifted her and adjusted himself on the sofa so he lie down comfortably.

“The others can be here anytime,” Alecto said, hesitant.

Blaze arched an eyebrow. “Then you better not waste any more time and sit your pretty pussy on my face so I can enjoy my breakfast before the meeting.”

Alecto still didn’t move, excited and anxious about the idea all at the same time. Then Blaze lifted her hips and pulled her onto his face. A giggle escaped her, and she braced her hands on the arm of the sofa above Blaze’s head.

Blaze pushed her panties aside and flicked his tongue over her clit. The laughs and giggles were replaced with moans and gasps.

Alecto sunk her hips lower, grinding against Blaze’s mouth. The wicked things his tongue did made her toes curl in her shoes, and she threw her head back.

The rush of adrenaline from the fear of getting caught plus the excitement and the pleasure was a dangerous and potent mix.

Blaze cupped her ass with his hands, keeping her close to his mouth, and Alecto couldn’t bear the tension building inside her. She gasped and then clasped her hand over her mouth to keep silent as pleasure seized her body.

Blaze didn’t stop feasting on her, even after the intense wave passed, and Alecto shook because she was so sensitive. Yet it was never enough.

If it weren’t for the door at the top of the stairs opening and revealing a heap of voices, Alecto would have continued fucking Blaze’s face.

She hopped off him with trembling legs and walked over to the pool table, smoothing her skirt. When she turned around, there was a satisfied smirk on Blaze’s face as he sat down on the sofa and adjusted himself.

“Oh, good. You’re here,” Val said. Andro, Rogue, and Jolene were behind her. “We have little time to talk before we have to head out.”

Alecto cleared her throat, willing her mind to concentrate on the matter. She wondered whether the others could smell sex in the air or if it was only her.

Rogue settled on the couch next to Blaze, stretching his long legs. Andro sat between them, and Jolene, as always, took her spot on the armchair next to the bookshelves.

Val leaned her hip against the pool table. Nobody seemed to be aware of what had happened mere moments ago. Alecto’s heart jumped to her throat when she noticed the subtle shine around Blaze’s mouth.

He slowly licked his upper lip and brushed a finger over the bottom, erasing any traces of her. Then he pulled out a broken cigarette from somewhere behind his back and propped it back between the lips.

“Rough times?” Rogue asked. “Can’t afford cigarettes anymore, Leveau?”

“Apparently thesearerough times,” Blaze said, cigarette bobbing with each word. He snapped the broken tip off and lit it. “Otherwise, we could have gotten a new demon instead of a treacherous old one. But I guessreuse and recycleis the new motto for our House.”

Andro chuckled and Alecto rolled her eyes.

“Where are you heading?” Alecto asked Val.

“We,” Val said. “Leigh sent me a note this morning saying that she did some digging and found something about Gondalez. We’re heading over to Avalon Hills to meet her.”

“Why all the way there?” Andro asked. “Isn’t it safer if she comes to our House to talk about it?”

“She has an important work thing today,” Jolene answered. “And where we will be, it’s safer than anywhere else in Inathis. Well, at least for us…”

Alecto was curious to see where that place was.

“Anyway,” Val said. “The spell we performed on Galia worked. Rogue feels the magical tug of the blood oath.”

Alecto glanced at Rogue, who sat looking calm and collected. There weren’t any signs that he was uncomfortable or in pain or resisting something.

“Great news,” Alecto said. “Does that mean we trust Galia?”
