It had been a year since all hell broke loose. Literally. It was Aria who seemed to keep us all together as a unit, but it wasn’t long before I noticed changes happening within me. I tried to ignore it, but something wasoffbetween all of us.

The wolves—my guys Zane, Bren, and Nakia—started to separate from the vampires, and the vampires seemed relieved.

That wasn’t working for me.

I had just finished tucking Aria into her new bed. The spoiled little thing was already sleeping in a queen-sized bed that Zane—apparently a master in carpentry himself—had made for her. It was made from a lovely pine wood that was light in color and polished to perfection.

She loved fairies—against her vampire uncles’ wishes, but she stole all our hearts, so no one really gave a damn about it. “The fairies watch over me,” she would constantly remind us all, only to have eyes rolling in the backs of their heads from my sexy immortal vamps.

“She asleep?” Logan whispered as I quietly shut the door to her new room.

“Yes,” I turned and was enveloped in his muscular biceps. “She was just insisting that Boots is her cat and not Braden’s.” I hid my laugh against Logan’s chest.

“Brade’s getting over the fact that he lost his cat to our little angel,” Logan said, taking my hand and leading me down the hall of our ridiculously expensive, but apparently mandated by everyone but me, home in Miami Beach, Florida.

Money wasn’t an obstacle to us living wherever we wanted, but I wanted to keep things less ostentatious than some of the others. I tried to convince everyone to bring it down from a mansion to a smaller, less luxurious place, but Aria insisted on helping find the place she wanted to live, and the rest of us were happy to please her. I figured I’d still have the ability to influence her choice of a home a bit, but that sure backfired on me.

Aria was definitely smarter than the average six-year-old, and she knew how to work all of us. We ended up with a house that looked like a massive dollhouse. It overlooked the beautiful white sand beaches and vivid blue waters, and we had the privacy of over an acre of giant palm trees, hiding the home from any roads except the entrance and full exposure and access to the beach. Only the rich and famous lived here, so it was unsettling for me, and it would take some time getting used to this house, which was fashioned by some well-known architect that cost millions to hire.

I was learning more and more that my vampires were very lavish with their dwellings, and I guess that with being immortal, you’d want the best of this earth you were stuck walking for the rest of your life.

Aria first fell in love with the infinity pool, and after two days of Cole teaching her how to swim, she was practically a pro. This, of course, was much to her father’s dislike—water wasn’t exactly in a wolf’s nature—but, again, Aria had us all wrapped around her tiny little finger, and everyone was happy so long as she was squealing in delight.

“How about a bath? I figured after today, you’d be down for that,” Logan asked, rubbing the tight muscles in my shoulders.

“Oh, my God, that sounds awesome.” I leaned back into my vampire, prompting a soft kiss to my temple from him. “Where is everyone?”

“Down by the pool. Zane sent out some shifters to patrol the surrounding areas to make sure no undesirable behaviors are coming from the Florida vamps and shifters, but they came back, and they’re all screwing off while Cole plays with the outside kitchen like he’s Aria with her dollhouses.” He laughed.

We turned together and walked into the enormous bathroom that was too large and beautiful for one person to appreciate. This place should be a damn hotel or something.

I saw the bubbles floating up and over the rim of the spa tub, and I knew Logan was already planning what was starting to awaken in my body. I turned, and his eyes were glazed withthatlook…the look of desire and happiness for this rare chance for it to be just the two of us. He already fed last week, and now that my blood was turning back to its normal lifeblood for my vampires, he could last pretty much a month without it.

“I want you to feed.”

“I want to fuck.” He smirked.

“Don’t they go hand in hand?” I arched a brow at him.

“True,” he shrugged. “I guess my mind keeps going back to when my girl tried to drink me dry,” he teased.

“Jerk.”

He slowly pulled my shirt over my head, my hands slipping down his brawny sides. He’d been out screwing off with the guys too, shirtless, of course. Any chicks who walked across the beaches in front of the house on any given day were definitely getting their eye candy from all these abs and ripped muscles that were always outside.

“Goddamn, your body will never get old.” Logan’s blue irises were now hypnotic.

I was sucking in air, maintaining my control. Logan had his own way of seducing me into an orgasm with his touch and velvety voice alone. Hell, all my vamps did, and the wolves were working their way up quickly to that magical trance I’d fall under too. It was bliss, and heaven, and nothing this multi-million-dollar, lavish, oceanfront mansion could even compare to.

“Fuck, Logan,” I said as he dropped my skirt and licked a trail following my underwear down to my feet.

“Oh, you’re gonna scream tonight, doll,” his voice was deeper. He gently licked along the inside of my leg, nipping and stopping right at the inside of my thigh.

Damn it, Logan. Holy Fuck!

I was panting as his tongue found my entrance and, he began licking and sucking as if that were the source where he was drinking my blood. I reached down and clawed into his thick black hair. His hand came up as he buried his face in between my legs, forcing an orgasm out of me while he drank my cum into his mouth.
