It didn’t go unnoticed that the lace was damp, and when I brought my hand out of my jacket, I ran it in front of my nose. Her confident look faltered when I inhaled her scent. “You smell so good, sweetheart,” I told her as satisfaction drifted off her.

She shook her head, like she was trying to shake the arousal from her cheeks. “Okay, truth or dare.”

For a moment, I forgot we were playing the stupid game, and I tilted my head. “Truth.”

“Seriously?” The way she whined made my body whirl with need. “You have my panties in your pocket, and you want me to ask you a silly question? You’re no fun.” She thought for a second, a wicked smile pulling at her lips. “Fine. What is your kink?”

“My…kink?”

Seeing the sudden nerves flood her face when she was asked to explain further was worth being almost willing to answer her question. What did I tell her? That I liked to see a woman submit, crawl on her knees to me, and beg me to make her come while mine dripped from her lips?

“Y-yes. You know… like something really dirty you like to do… in bed?” Watching the embarrassment in her cheeks while she tried to explain what it was to me was worth the game.

“I know what a kink is. I’m more interested in why you want to know mine.”

She sucked her lip into her mouth and bit down, causing the skin around it to turn a light pink. “I’m just curious… I don’t really have any, butsupposedlyeveryone has kinks.”

I laughed loudly enough for her jaw to drop in surprise. Leaning across the table, I dropped my voice and caught her stare. “Of course you have kinks. Like your desire to be praised for starters, hmm?”

“I do not!” She shouted, quickly lowering her voice and avoiding the few turned heads. She repeated in a whisper, “I donot.”

“When I tell you that you’ve done a good job, sunshine, your face gets this serene look and your body melts. The way your eyes light up tells me that pussy of yours also reacts, and judging by the panties you brought back with you from the bathroom, I’d say I’m correct. Aren’t I?” I dropped my voice to a whisper. “I bet if I slipped my hand up your dress, you’d be wet now.”

She just stared at me, clearly trying to determine if she agreed with me or not. “I… I don’t know.”

“You’ll notice now,” I said as the waiter dropped off our food.

I watched in silence as Andy eagerly ate the food on her plate. “Oh mygod, this isso good.” She moaned before going back for another bite. She closed her lips around it, and when she moaned, I adjusted in my seat.

“Stop doing that.”

“I’m not doing anything.” Her mouth closed around another bite, followed by a more dramatic moan. “Yummy.”

“Every time you moan like that, it goes straight to my cock. If you don’t stop, I’m going to drag you out of here and fill your mouth with that instead. Nowbehave.”

She started to moan again, but it quickly turned into a fit of laughter. “I can’t even do it with a straight face now! You’re too serious. You should lighten up.” When she winked at me, I choked on the wine I was taking a sip of.

“You’re a pain in the ass, sunshine.”

“So I’ve heard.” She shrugged and licked her fingers clean, even though there was nothing on them. “You never answered, by the way.”

It took me a moment to remember the stupid game, but she was right. Telling her whatherkink was didn’t answer her question. “I’m in charge, both inside and outside the bedroom.” I dropped my voice to a whisper. “If you’re a good girl, you may just find out.”

On the walkfrom the restaurant to our hotel, it was impossible to focus on the streets around me. Even as people walked around with snakes around their necks, drinks in hand, or their tits out, I was thinking about the way my skin felt like electricity was running through it. When we walked by a hairy man in a velvet robe singing along with Tina Turner’s “What’s Love Got to Do with It”as it blared out of old boombox speakers, I couldn’t help but dance and sing along.

I moved to join the man when he tried to hand me his microphone, reaching his hand out to pull me closer to the small amp he was plugged into. I rocked my hips with the beat until I was tugged backwards, my back meeting Demetri’s chest.

“I don’t think so, sunshine.”

I looked at him, tempted to show him he didn’t control me by throwing a fit and dancing in the middle of the street anyways. His eyes were dark, though, something an awful lot like lust stirring in them, and he didn’t give me a chance to argue before he kept walking. When he continued towards the hotel, I stepped back in line with him.

Demetri situated himself between me and the curb as we walked, wrapping his arm around me possessively when we passed a group of men, but instead of dropping it when he remembered it was there, he held on tighter. My core ached with need, and I fought the desire to stop and kiss him. Would he be angry if I did?

I didn’t, and as we ascended the steps into the hotel, disappointment settled over me. We climbed onto the elevator, and I desperately searched for the words to break the silence. Demetri watched me out of the corner of his eye. He didn’t turn his head, but his side glance never left me.

In front of my room, I paused, unable to bring myself to swipe the card to open the door. “Good night, sunshine.”

He turned to walk away, but I shot my hand out and wrapped it around his wrist. “Demetri… I…” His shoulders stiffened, and while he didn’t turn around, he didn’t take another step either. I took a deep breath and a step towards him, running my hand along his back and crossing to his front. Reaching on my tiptoes, I pressed my lips to the soft part of his neck under his ear, enjoying his small sigh. “Please stay?” I whispered against his skin.
