“Ly—Lynix,” she stuttered, her breath catching in her throat.

He held on to her, keeping her in place while simultaneously inflicting the most feral type of pleasure with his mouth and tongue that she’d ever endured. And she was loving every breath-stealing minute of his ministrations.

But she couldn’t lie still. She had no control of her body. The intensity from what he was doing to her felt too good. She whimpered and fisted the bedding within her hands as sensations plowed through her, swirling around like a flying saucer. Her hips moved on their own accord, thrusted against his face, harder and faster.

It was too much.

She couldn’t breathe.

“Lynix,” she moaned as the pressure built, and then she lost it. She screamed his name as a hot tide of passion rocketed through her leaving her boneless and gasping for air.

Tears leaked from the corners of her eyes, but she wasn’t crying. Hell, she wasn’t sure what was going on. Her body trembled and her chest heaved while she struggled to get breath into her lungs.

Her energy was shot. Her mind was spinning. And she couldn’t move even if she wanted to. So many emotions spuninside of her, feelings she couldn’t put a name to. That… all of that had been wild.

What had he done to her?

What had he done to her body?

“Dee?”

Dorian could hear Onyx whimpering at the door until Lynix said something to the dog. Then she could feel Lynix’s hand on her thighs, but she still couldn’t move. She was barely able to think and forget about breathing. Her chest was still heaving.

“Sweetheart, are you okay?” Lynix’s words sounded closer, and she didn’t miss the concern in his voice. His hand was on the side of her neck for a second before moving it to her cheek. “Dee? You gotta talk to me, babe. You okay?”

Her eyes finally eased open and met his troubled ones.

“Woman, you scared the hell out of me. Are you alright?” His voice was gentler this time, but he still looked concerned as he lightly brushed his fingers over her cheek.

“I—I’m…” She released a long breath. “That was… that was a lot,” she admitted, unable to come up with a more accurate description of how he had rocked her world.

Lynix huffed out a breath, and his broad shoulders relaxed. As he lay beside her on the bed, he chuckled and gathered her limp body into his arms.

“It sounded like you were hyperventilating, which caught me off guard. You kind of freaked me out there for a minute,” he whispered, then kissed her.

It was weird tasting herself on his lips, but it was another new experience with him.

“I freakedyouout?” she said, still feeling a little breathless. “I’m the one whose world was flipped upside down. I’ve never felt anything like that before in my life,” she admitted quietly, and the moment the words were out of her mouth, Lynix stiffened next to her.

Silence fell between them and long seconds ticked by before he lifted up and looked down at her.

Dorian frowned. What? He was looking at her as if seeing her for the first time. Then his eyes searched hers like he was trying to figure something out. But what?

“Lynix?”

Hearing his name snapped him to attention, and he sat on the edge of the bed with his back to her.

Okaaay. She was at a loss here. What had she said to spark this type of reaction? She tried to mentally search her mind, but if she was honest, she was still a little out of it. Still trying to pull herself together after experiencing the most intense orgasm of her life.

Lynix stirred, and her eyes snapped to him as he released a long breath before glancing over his shoulder at her. “What did you mean when you said you never felt anything like that before?” he asked.

His voice was calm and controlled, but he was still searching her eyes for something, maybe answers she didn’t seem to have.

“Dee?” he prompted.

Then it dawned on her. Embarrassment sent heat rushing through her body, and her face felt like it was on fire.

He doesn’t know. She thought he knew. How could he not know?
