Knox

By the endof the game, I’m ready to snap my stick over my knee. I can’t remember the last time I played this shitty. We lost against the Bears, a team we joked in the locker room before the game might as well wave a white flag before the puck even hit the ice.

No matter how many Devils shouted my name or shoved my shoulder, I couldn’t get my head in the game. For once, it’s not Aurora who’s distracting me.

It’s Monica. The last fucking person I want to have on my mind.

She showed up at the restaurant where Aurora works. Worked. Why a shithole diner, of all places? She’s been lurking around since the Sigma Chi party, and I’m not a fan.

What the hell is she after? That’s the nagging thought I can’t get out of my head. Monica never does anything unless there’s something in it for her.

Damien claps me on the shoulder as he leaves the locker room with Finn, Luke, and Trey. Once the place is deserted, I’m left with nothing but my thoughts, and I can’t imagine a worse place to be.

Other than tied up in Monica’s basement, maybe.

She wouldn’t do anything that insane. She’s not the same level of deranged as Rory’s ex. But she wants something, and I need to figure out what it is before she gets it.

Or maybe I’m being paranoid. Maybe she really is fucking some guy on campus and all of our run-ins can be chalked up to nothing more than coincidences.

The locker room door squeaks open just as I’m about to sling my bag over my shoulder.

A blonde floats into the room, dark eyes bright and smile coy. I can’t help the grin that immediately spreads across my face.

No matter what’s going on, no matter where I am, this girl always manages to make me smile. “Hey, Rory. Miss me that bad, huh? Just couldn’t wait a minute longer.”

“Exactly,” she purrs, slowly closing the distance between us.

Aurora is finally giving herself over to us. Offering herself up to us on a silver platter.

She has no idea the ways we’ll devour her.

“Yeah?” I lift a brow and drop my bag. “Damien and Finn following you in here?”

She shakes her head. “They said you had a rough game. I wouldn’t know. I don’t get hockey. But I do know you looked like you could’ve flatlined anyone on the other team.”

“Now you’re just stroking my ego.” I lean back against the locker behind me. “I like it. Keep going.”

“Since you had a rough game”—Her hand lands on my fly before she tugs it down with a soft purr—“I thought you could use a little...cheering up.”

I stroke a thumb from her cheekbone to her jawline. “And I get you all to myself?”

She stiffens, and I freeze. The wrong thing to say. Maybe she doesn’t want me alone. But then the smile is back on her lips. “No, I getyouall tomyself.”

With that, she sinks to her knees in front of me. My mouth waters. “When you figure out whatever I did to deserve this, let me know. I’ll do it every second of my life.”

Aurora pulls out my cock, already rock-hard for her, and strokes her hand down the length. Her gaze doesn’t stray from mine. “You already do it every second of your life. You’re you. You make me smile through my tears. You make me laugh even when I feel like I’ve forgotten how. You always know exactly what to say. To make me feel better, to make me laugh, to make me come. You’re Knox. That’s why you deserve this.”

My heart damn near stops. No one’s ever said anything like that to me. Certainly not while they stroked my cock.

My thumb rubs over her cheek. “I’ll give you everything I can, Rory. That’s what you deserve.”

Her mouth quirks up in a smirk. “Especially after this.”

Without another word of warning, she sticks out her tongue, flicking my tip.

I yelp like I’ve never fucked anyone before.

She giggles before wrapping her mouth around the head. I don’t even care about her little giggle as I tip my head back, eyes half hooded as I fight to keep them open and trained on her.
