“Maybe.” Dustin spun her, out, then back into his arms, gilding them into a smooth two-step as he danced them toward the children. “I’m betting on it.”
Charity let the whirlwind that was Dustin twirl her around and around as bubbles shimmered in the air around them like a thousand moments of joy.

Dustin had a new level of respect for his brothers. How the hell had they been crawling out of bed every morning these past years, leaving their women behind, all warm and sexy as sin?
He nuzzled Charity’s neck, reluctant to start his day without her. “Wake up enough to kiss me before I go,” he ordered.
“Can I kiss you and stay asleep?” she muttered.
“Nope. I need full consent.”
“Fine.” She rolled unexpectedly and he ended up under her. The pouf of hair poking from her high ponytail bounced as she nodded happily. “Well, now. Look what I found in my bed.”
“Ourbed.” Dustin curled his arms around her and kissed her long and deep, just because he could.
When he was done, Charity was flushed and breathing hard. “So much for sleeping in,” she complained. “Now I’m hot and bothered.”
“I’d do something about that, but Caleb will kick my butt if I’m late.”
“Oh, I can take care of it myself.” She waggled her brows.
The image of her stroking herself to a climax nearly killed him. “You’re an evil wench. Which means you go right ahead. Imagining you with your hands between your legs will make for a great daydream.”
Firm hands cupped his face. She swallowed hard then smiled like the sun. “I love you.”
A shot of adrenaline raced up his spine like an explosive. “Holy shit. Really? Now I’m totally going to be late.”
Her laugh was swallowed up by his kiss.
If it had been up to him, he’d have said screw it to work. But a moment later Charity was off the bed, shaking a finger at him when he would have hauled her back to the mattress. “Yes, I decided enough dithering withmaybesandfalling. I. Love. You. Now, go to work so your brothers don’t make you stay late.”
Dustin stood and held up a hand with a raised finger. “One, your timing sucks. Just saying.”
She grinned.
“Two, meet me at the arena at four, and we’ll go for a ride.”
“Sure. Sounds great.”
He wasn’t done. He held up one more finger. “My brothers had better appreciate that I’m on time today in spite of number three.”
She raised a brow.
Dustin spoke quietly. “I love you, too.”
Charity pressed her hands to her face. “Go to work, right now, before we make unwise choices,” she ordered.
“Going.”
He kissed her again, though. Soft. Slow. Pulling back to say it again. “I love you, Tee. See you this afternoon.”
The warmth of her words carried him all the way to the barn. Hell, he doubted his feet hit the ground the entire trip.
Fortunately, Dustin beat Caleb to the stalls by all of thirty seconds, which gave him time to at least try to wipe what he assumed was a goofy grin off his face.
Didn’t work. His brother still raised a brow en route to saddling his horse. “Interesting.”
