“I don’t know what happened. We were all getting ready to go to our next class and then Nicky tripped and I was trying to help her up and then she pushed me down for no reason!”

Behind her, Scarlett’s eyes narrow. “Cassandra Ruth. You know that isn’t the entire truth. Tell the Headmasters whatreallyhappened.”

Some of the color fades from Cassie’s face, as though she forgot Scarlett was in the room with us. Or she wasn’t expecting to get called out on her lie.

Given how strict Scarlett is known to be, my money is on the former rather than the latter.

“Um, well, Imighthave noticed Nicky was wearing a diaper and I might have been a little mean to her about it. But seriously! We’re supposed to be big girls here, not babies!”

She says the last word with a snarl of derision that has every protective instinct I possess standing on end.

And judging by the low growl that emanates from Ezra, I’m not the only one.

“Nicole is wearing a diaper because herDaddiesinsisted on it. She is wearing a diaper because she is our good girl and she wants to make us proud. There is no shame in a Little girl submitting to her Daddies’ desires, and frankly I am incredibly disappointed in you, Cassandra, for trying to shame someone for their preferences. I thought we’d taught you better than that, but apparently our education has not made the impact on you I believed it had.”

For the first time, concern flits across Cassie’s face as she worries her bottom lip with her teeth. “What are you going to do?”

Before Ezra can answer, a knock at the office door interrupts the conversation. Without looking away from Cassie, Ezra calls for them to enter.

Professor Grant Faulkner steps inside with Marni trailing behind him. Silver hair is swept back from his stern face, and his expression is one that makes even my insides quiver and I know it isn’t targeted at me in the least.

“Headmasters. Scarlett. What can I help you with?”

With his gaze still locked on naughty little Cassie, Ezra smiles. “Grant. Thank you for coming so quickly. Cassandra here has earned quite a punishment. Bullying, shaming another student for her personal kinks, and tripping that same student. I need to ask you to step in.”

There’s a twinkle in Grant’s eye that only a true sadist can appreciate. “Not that I mind at all, but may I ask why?”

“Because the student she was bullying is our Little girl, Nicole and I’m not at all certain I can remain objective enough to give Cassie an appropriate punishment.” Glancing over at Nicole, Ezra smiles and gestures to Grant. “Say hello to Professor Faulkner, princess.”

“Oh, um. Hi,” Nicole squeaks out, and I give her a hard squeeze of approval in return.

Looking down, Grant smiles, a hint of warmth infusing his usually stony expression. “I've heard so much about you, Miss Nicole. It’s nice to finally meet you. Are you hurt in any way?”

“No, Sir. Um, I mean, I hurt my knees a bit when I fell but I’m fine now.”

“I see.” Even that hint of warmth disappears as he turns his piercing gaze on Cassie. “Did you have a specific punishment in mind, Headmaster?”

“No. I’m not sure I trust myself to make that decision, so I am leaving her in your capable hands.”

“I see. Well, for starters, I think a spanking and an apology are in order. But seeing as how this is not the first issue we’ve had with Miss Morgan, I have a somewhat… unorthodox suggestion.”

“I’m listening,” Ezra says, curiosity winding around his words.

“My brother is visiting for the week. Let me move her in with us for the week. Between the two of us, I have no doubt we can give Miss Morgan the discipline she so obviously needs.”

Ezra tilts his head to the side, obviously considering the suggestion. “I think that’s a great idea.”

“What?” Hopping to her feet with an indignant shriek, Cassie glares at each of us in turn. “That is ridiculous! You can’t expect me to agree to this!”

“I can, and I do.” Ice coats Ezra’s voice. “It is either this or you can return home. I cannot and will not have one of my students putting my other students at risk, either emotionally or physically.”

“But… but youcan’tsend me home.” Looking somewhat panicked now, Cassie glances wildly around the room. “I have to complete the program!”

“Then I suggest you take Professor Faulkner up on his offer of a moreintimateapproach.”

Her bottom lip trembles, and for a moment I actually feel sorry for her. But then I remember why we’re here, and my heart hardens once more.

Cassie did this to herself. So it’s up to her to accept the consequences, or not.
