She’s so fucking hot!

She braces her elbows against the couch, raising her manacled hands as if she’s praying so she can swing her hips even further towards me. The last of my control shatters like acheap mirror, and I ram her hard and fast, gripping her hips and shoulders to bend her to my will as I thrash her with my cock.

Through my own haze of pleasure, I can hear Winnie screaming, shouting my name, and cheering me on. Before my orgasm peaks, a soft moment of peace flows through me, a sense of stillness right before my climax explodes, and I shove my cock into her as hard as I can to blow deep inside her.

Winnie rocks back and forth on her knees, gasping softly as her body clenches around mine. I wait for the wave of dizziness to subside a little before I slowly pull out of her and wrap her in my arms, holding her against my chest as we collapse against the couch.

With light, quick movements, I unlock the manacles and let them fall to the floor.

“You’re not chained to me, Winnie, I promise you,” I whisper, not even really aware I’ve spoken.

“But I am, Damon,” she answers. “And I put the chains on myself.”

We curl up together, and her breathing quickly slows down as she falls into a deep sleep. I cradle her in my arms, feeling that terrible sense of fear again.

The idea that I could hurt this lovely woman is more terrifying than anything I could possibly imagine.

I tighten my arms around her, vowing to never let any harm come to her. My last thought as I fall asleep is that a brutal pack war is definitely not the place for Winnie—and I have to do something about it before anyone else gets hurt.

In the morning, we wake up together. Winnie seems very shy, but happy. When I ask about the night before, she grins, blushes, and looks away. I decide not to ask any questions, to just accept the fact that it looks like she enjoyed herself. If she had any problems, she would tell me.

We go straight out to the manor, which looks a little less like a war zone than it did the night before. I see Flint and Logan in the courtyard and hurry over to them.

“What’s the word?” I ask.

“Everything’s quiet,” Flint says. “I’m glad you’re here, because I’m ready to drop. It’s taken us all night, but everyone’s back home, and the area is being cleaned up.” He grimaces. “Boss, there were a few casualties, I’m sorry to say.”

“How many?”

“Found five in the rubble. Three injured in the hospital. Might be a few more yet.”

“Can we begin investigating?”

“No manpower left. Everyone’s done in. The elders are in the back courtyard, and they’re waiting for you. Please, give me at least six hours’ sleep before you call me back on duty.”

“No promises,” I reply, taking Winnie’s hand and heading out the back.

Regina and the others are sitting on the stone benches at the edge of the courtyard. The older woman looks up at me with naked fury.

“Where have you been?” she yells. “Your pack needs you, and you’re off resting? This is unacceptable—”

“Your alpha was injured,” Winnie says, stepping in front of me. “He had to have his wounds tended to. Then we had other important matters that took our full attention.”

“Like what?” Regina asks sourly.

“Like consummating the union,” Winnie states as she takes a step towards Regina. “Considering the circumstances, I decided it was the most important business to address.”

Winnie glances over her shoulder at me. I just tilt my head to her, grinning.

Go get her, babe. You’re doing just fine.

Regina stares at us, her cheeks beginning to color.

I’ve never seen the old bitch so animated.

“That’s… good,” she finally says. “Good that your position is now secure. It means you’ll be able to go up against Valentine Creek and finally destroy them.”
