Oh darlin’, give me those eyes.
I swallow as my cock lets me know it likes that idea very much. When I know neither of them is watching, I adjust myself before stepping up to the table where Kenni is working. I lean on it since my cock can’t be trusted as Fable flashes me an excited smile. “Ready?”
I’m pretty sure I’m not ready for what she wants me to be ready for, but I nod just the same. She beams as she calls out to Skyye to do some kind of figure skating thing. I have no clue what my girl is doing; all I know is that she looks like a damn princess out there. Skyye flashes me a wide grin before she skates backward, then to the side before jumping off the ice and spinning in the air. When she lands with ease, her hands outstretched and a bright, happy smile, she takes my breath away. I let out a whooping yeehaw and clap loudly.
“Hell yeah, baby girl! That was awesome!”
Skyye’s face fills with excitement as she continues to skate. Fable wiggles her shoulders as she says, “That was a double.”
“That was awesome,” I reply, and I love how pleased Skyye is with herself. She should be.
Kenni sighs deeply. “She’s amazing, Fable. Great work.”
Fable loves the praise, and she deserves it. “Thanks.” Her phone chimes, and she looks down, a smirk pulling at her lips. “My husband is wanting attention. Good seeing you, Dean.” She squeezes Kenni in a little side hug. “Send me those notes. I am so excited.”
Kenni smiles proudly as she nods, and I let Fable know I sent payment. Fable walks away with a wave, and I glance over at Kenni, who is still typing like mad. I purse my lips, wanting her to look at me. I want to get lost in her eyes, but before I can utter God knows what, Skyye skates over.
“Hey, Dad!”
“Hey, baby girl. You’re killing it out there.”
Skyye brushes her hair out of her face. She’s all sweaty and looks a bit tired, but her grin is unstoppable. “Right? I feel like all that running is helping.”
I smile as Kenni nods. “You’re fast, for sure—at least from where I’m lying.”
I chuckle as I bump my shoulder into hers. “I heard about you sunbathing while my girl is running.”
Kenni waggles her brows. “I don’t run unless I’m being chased.”
Do not say you want to chase her.
Do not say you want to chase her.
Do not say you want to chase her.
Instead, I laugh, and I’m rewarded with both my girls laughing.
My girls.
Wow. Okay.
I run my hand down my face as Skyye says, “I’m gonna go get changed. Then we can head out.”
I look up to see Kenni nodding before Skyye comes over to give me a hug. “Where are you two off to?”
“We’re going shopping up in Knoxville for the day,” Skyye tells me, and I nod.
“That’s nice. Need some money?”
Kenni shakes her head before Skyye can. “Nope, my treat.”
“She’ll break your bank.”
Kenni grins. “I know.”
I smile back before I kiss Skyye’s temple and give her a squeeze. Against her temple, I ask, “Why don’t eggs tell each other jokes?”
Skyye snorts as she shakes her head, giving me a wary look as she holds back her laughter. “Dad!”
