“Sure of yourself that you wrecked me?”

He chuckles. “It’s only fair that I did since you wrecked me.”

Our eyes meet, and the smile we share is so sweet and intimate, my nose burns. I drag my fingers along his lips. “I’m fine.”

He kisses my fingers, his eyes hooded and dark for me. “Kenni?” I pause my fingers, searching his eyes. “I don’t want to use condoms with you. I want to feel you with nothing between us. I will if you want, but I don’t want to.”

I try to hold back my grin, but I fail as I get lost in his eyes. “I don’t know… We might need them to keep you from embarrassing yourself.” His lips curve, and then he’s tickling my sides, nuzzling my neck. Our laughter is like a love song in the dark room, and I want no music other than us. I find myself half on him when our laughter subsides, and our eyes lock. “I’ll go on birth control.”

He cups my cheek, and I lean into it as he gazes up at me with a blissful look. I did that. I caused that look, and I want it always. His lips part like he wants to say something, but he doesn’t. He stares at me for a moment, and I wonder if he wants me to leave.

“Should I go back to my bed?”

He shakes his head. “You’re in your bed, darlin’.”

My heart skips a beat, but he doesn’t allow me to comment. Instead, he leans in, slanting his hot mouth over mine in a soul-deep kiss that has my toes curling and my heart aching.

The kiss isn’t hasty or rushed.

No, it feels like Dean is settling in to kiss me for the rest of our lives.
