The Last of Walker’s Warriors Book 6…

Walker Ranch

Life inside the ranch house seemed to be normal, but on the outside, it wasn’t. We all wondered what O had up her sleeve. She continued to smirk and chit chat with whoever watched over her. The Rebel Saints did not do chit chat but she would just continue as if they had answered her. Logan had everything she said recorded. Just in case she slipped up, but we all doubted that she would. Sometimes people were just plain crazy and she was that, but she was a crazy genius too. All of what she had done over the years proved this point only too well.

Still, we knew something was coming, she seemed too complacent. O actually believed she would get free. I really couldn’t see how that would happen. Talon and Olivia said we had to keep her here until we located her other son Deacon and the rest of her men. If we had her here, they would not dare attack the ranch.

Me and everyone else hated waiting, we wanted this to finally be over. We truly believed when we caught O that would be the end of her reign of terror, which it appears had lasted ever since she was a child. I shivered at the thought of all she had done. The long-time enemy of the Walker family had been Ma’s sister all along. Rylan’s mother. He and everyone else had believed ? Bea’s sister Oliva Claire or better known as O ? had been dead for years.

However, she had been very much alive, although her face was scarred badly. The woman had killed so many people over the years that it was truly chilling. Killing her parents and sister when she was just nine or ten years old. Then as a grown woman, she killed her husband Bronson and a woman she’d planted in her own home to make it look like she had perished as well. My father was on that list too, she had killed him when I had believed he’d drowned in Hurricane Harvey, then my mother didn’t live long after he passed. She’d also murdered Ma’s husband Jacob. Her horrid list of crimes grew over the years as many others were tortured and killed during her nefarious time building her own criminal empire.

None of us could wait for her to be gone. A few of us wanted to take her out ourselves, but we wouldn’t. She deserved to pay for all her sins, but we all would rather she was put into prison, to never see the light of day again.

After our walk around the ranch while avoiding the barn where O was kept, Rylan and I went up the steps to the house. Suddenly, we heard an odd sound. A roaring. Looking over, we saw Talon, Hawk, Dagger and Raven rushing over from the barn. Some of the Rebel Saints followed them. They all looked fierce while carrying weapons and a few had rifles.

I had to admit, I felt scared. This might be the shoe O dropped and it would probably be bad for all of us…verybad.

“What the fuck is happening?” Rylan asked.

The roaring got louder as the men all hopped into two of the trucks and headed to the gates.

Rylan took my hand and said, “Let’s watch from the security room.”

We went in and Ma looked up. “What’s coming?” she asked. “I can hear that rumbling sound.”

“Come on,” Rylan said as he headed down the hallway to what used to be Jacob Senior’s study. Opening the door, we went in.

Logan glanced up from his PC screen.

“What is it?” Rylan asked him.

He shrugged. “Looks like bikers, but I can’t see any of them well enough.”

“Bikers?” Ma asked.

“Yeah.” Logan nodded. “But they aren’t Rebel Saints. Or so Hawk said.”

We stood and waited for these bikers to get closer.

The trucks with our men were close to the gate when they stopped. The guards at the gates also looked ready as they had their rifles aimed outward. Before long, there were more than a dozen guns aimed at the road.

Many motorcycles came up the long road and finally slowed down. In fact, most of them stopped about a hundred feet away. All except one. As it got closer, we could see the rider a bit better. He had short greying hair and he rode one of the biggest Harleys I had ever seen.

Finally, he stopped right at the gates. He wore leather and dark sunglasses.

Logan tapped a few buttons. “I worked on improving the sound on the gate cameras. We should be able to hear them.”

The man on the Harley cut his engine and kicked his stand down. He stepped off his bike and planted his boots on the ground. He had a presence all right. Like a man used to being in charge. He raised his hands slowly and took his sunglasses off.

With a few taps on his keyboard, Logan zeroed the camera in on the man who approached the gates.

We could see the man well now.

A huge gasp sounded in the room.
