“Well, I wasn’t! Not that you cared.”

“Wait!” Rip raised his good hand and glared at O. “You died or should have in that gas fire with my father.”

“Yes, and I almost did. Just look at my face! It blew before I could get clear of it.”

Ma stepped over closer to O as she slapped Talon’s hands from her arm. “They found your body, Olivia. How can that be?”

O smirked. “I got some prostitute that looked enough like me, not that it mattered. Bronson was passed out cause he…” She shook her head. “Drank some sedatives, poor guy. Then I set the place on fire.”

With a gasp, Ma covered her mouth with her hand.

“Don’t look so surprised. I’ve set lots of fires, Bea.” O grinned at her. “Ma and Pa said there was something wrong with me and they were gonna send me to some mental hospital. I mean I was just a girl! A little girl. How could they try to throw me away like that?”

“You killed Ona and our parents…” Ma now swayed on her feet again as Talon and Dagger came up beside her to support her.

Rip looked like he was gonna be sick.

All of the Walkers looked horrified and dazed by O’s revelations.

“That’s what he meant.” Rip stared at his mother. “Dr. Robins said two sisters and two brothers.”

O looked over at him. “Timothy Robins is an idiot, but about that he was right. I ranted and raved when I was in childbirth with you and he heard how much I hated Bea and Jacob. He should keep his big mouth shut. I should have offed him too.”

“Too?” Talon asked.

O rolled her eyes. “You and Olivia think you are the best investigators, don’t ya? Well, guess what? You aren’t. Ask these men ya got here. I’m pretty handy with a knife.” She now wore a huge, satisfied grin on her face.

Talon stared at her. “Fuck no…”

“Fuck yes.” She beamed at him. “Never figured that one out, did ya?”

“You killed Jacob,” Ma stated and it wasn’t a question.

“Yes, I did.”

“But you loved him!” Ma shouted. “Why?”

“I went up to him outside that stupid dojo place of his. I wanted to see him again. I’d been overseas making my fortune. I came back and offered him all that I had made. It was just five million or so, but back then, that was a lot of money. Told him we could finally be together.”

“And he turned you down,” Ma said.

“He didn’t even know who I was!” O yelled. “Cause of my scars. So when I told him, he got this shocked look on his face. He asked how come his brother died and I didn’t! Well, I knew then that you had brainwashed him, so I stabbed him. He never even saw it coming.” O scoffed. “Some big fighter, right? A woman knocked him off that pedestal.”

“If you had all that money, why didn’t you fix your face?” Talon asked.

O paused. “I thought about it, but it was like a badge of honor to me. Haven’t you ever heard the old song?”

Talon shook his head.

“I did it all for love,” O sang.

Everyone in the barn stared at her. There was no sanity in this woman. She had no regrets in her, no shame and she did not see how truly horrid everything she had done was.

Chapter Four:Walkers Facing Walkers

Redemption

When Liv was fished explaining what had been revealed that day, Dad looked livid. None of us had ever seen him this angry. He gripped his large hands into fists at his sides.
