He turned around to stare at the man who’d just come in. “Damnit Justice. This girl knows where O is. Can you step back?”

Justice looked over at me.

I shook my head. “The place is guarded by men just like you.”

Redemption looked over at me. “What does that mean?”

I shrugged. “You know, bad ass bikers with a bad attitude to match.” I gave Redemption a smirk like he’d given to me.

Redemption and Justice just stared at me.

Damn, both men were so…wow. I had no words to describe them. Like scary but so fucking hot too. I decided it was my time to leave. I turned and went out the door then made my way to the front of the barn.

When I got there, it seemed the group of men had calmed down.

Talon was telling Jarret, “Let’s go up to the house and talk.”

Jarret looked like he was trying to stay calm as he nodded.

“Your men can bunk with mine,” Hawk suggested.

Jarret looked around and called out, “Redemption!”

He and Justice came through the barn doors.

Hawk and Talon were glaring at them.

“She’s not in there,” Talon said. “You and your brothers need to come up to the house so we can talk.”

“Talk?” Redemption snapped. “We have less than 72 hours until Glory’s time runs out. Do you understand what is happening, Talon?” His voice rose. “What if they had taken your little sister? Would you just sit around and talk?”

Talon moved right up into his face. “No. But I would make a plan, asshole. Use your brain, not your feelings.”

They faced each other off like men who knew how to fight, ones who weren’t used to backing down.

I myself had seen Talon fight at one of the clubs in town and I actually feared for Redemption. Talon had taken the reprehensible Bull down. The man resembled his name in more ways than one too. Bull had been undefeated for more than a year at that club.

Jarrett stepped over. “We didn’t come here for a war. Especially not with family.” He stared at his son Redemption. “Time to break,” he growled.

With a gasp, Talon turned his head to stare at the older man.

So did all the Walker brothers: Dagger, Hawk and Raven. They all looked at Jarret like he was some kind of a ghost. It seemed like they had heard this phrase before.

Redemption finally took a step back from Talon.

When he did, I released the breath I didn’t even know I’d been holding. One thing I already knew, the Walker men rarely backed down. I saw what Rip and Talon had done to O’s men that day in the cornfield. Dusted them one by one or two by two, to be exact.

If these men all got into a fight? I paused to look around. The Rebel Saints and this Requiem MC would bloody each other up. I did think it was odd how the Walkers reacted to Jarret. Must be that he really reminded them of their own dad? I remembered the look on Ma’s face when Jarret had spoken with Talon back at the gate and decided that might be true. She’d acted the same way. Like she’d seen a ghost. I slowly shook my head. O was responsible for all of this of course. I never met a person as evil as her. Black hearted, cruel and absolutely insane.

If they set her free—I would be facing that insanity again and this time, I would not survive it.

Chapter Two:Double Deja Vu

Redemption

I was already tired of this shit. This wasn’t our doing, it was their war with this bitch O. We had nothing to do with these people. Dad had never spoken of any family before. Said he wasn’t close with them and left it at that. Come to find we had lots of family. His brother Jacob had four sons. Cousins to us. Here I was grown and all this time I never knew they existed, just in the next state over from us.

My brothers looked as unhappy as I felt. Justice had always been the cool headed one and even he acted anxious, Liberty and Fate looked edgy too. We all knew the clock was ticking and so far, these asswipe relatives of ours hadn’t seemed concerned.
