“Is that okay, boss?” Logan asked. “Laying some traps to blow?”

Talon slowly shook his head as he answered, “Look, no one wants revenge more than me, but none of us should be involved with a literal bloodbath.”

“I say, whatever gets rid of them,” I chimed in as I stared directly at Talon. “Whatever puts them down as fast as possible.”

“Agreed,” Liv said. “So everyone should be armed with machine guns.”

Liberty chuckled. “Wow, we are related, Liv.”

“Whenever you guys are ready to ride,” Liv said with a chuckle in her voice. “I’m sending the coordinates to your bike screens.”

“Could you send about fifty quarter pounders too?” Liberty came over yet again. “I am fucking starved!”

“Oorah!” the men said again.

I winced at the ear splitting cheer and looked over at Liberty as he sat in the Camaro.

“I told her that would more than likely be the case,” Keys replied.

“And what did she say?” Scarlet asked.

“Put a comm in her ear, Keys,” Talon ordered as he sounded out of patience with the whole thing.

“Will do.”

A few seconds later, a female voice came on, “Scarlet?”

“Yes, Mom.”

“Are you and Belle okay?”

“We are, Mom.”

“What happened?” she asked.

“It’s a long story,” Scarlet said. “But Belle was untouched and she is safe.”

“I need to see that for myself,” her mother replied.

“I get it, Mom, but we are sort of in like…”

“...Witness protection,” I said over the comm.

“Why?” her mother came back.

“Again, Mom, it is too long of a story. But if you come to see us, you will have to stay with us. I know your job—”
