Kicking the stand down, Justice swung his leg over and stood on the ground.

I stared at him. I was again gobsmacked by him, he just had to be the most magnificent man I had ever seen. Tall, leanly muscled and even with the dust on his face, he looked beautiful to me. I never thought that about a man until him. Beautiful, but this man was just that to me. I couldn’t help the warmth that spread through me, the kind only he brought.

His bright eyes took me in, as he seemed to know I was admiring him or something. Tugging me close, he reached up and took the earpiece from my ear and then did the same withhis, tucking them both into his pocket. “Scarlet, when you were missing, I died a thousand deaths. I realized that without you, I don’t want to be in this world.”

Gazing up at him, I became breathless at his words.

Lowering his head, he wrapped his arms around me and kissed me.

The second his lips touched mine that familiar deep warmth enveloped me. My world was set back on its axis as I was wrapped up in Justice. No matter what happened next, as long as he was with me, I could face anything.

Finally, he pulled away and stared into my eyes. “I won’t ever agree to let you go again. So, I may be guilty of what Belle said. I am holding you hostage.”

I laughed. “And I am so happy about that, Justice.”

Just then, the weed whackers started up and I jumped.

Justice laughed and took my hand as we headed for the door. When we went in, we could see lots of activity. Vacuuming, dusting and window cleaning. The Rebel Saints may be badass bikers carrying weapons, but they also knew how to do some serious housework.

We stood and looked around and as we did, my stomach growled. “Damn, I’m hungry.”

Justice smiled. “Yeah, I wonder where these supplies are that Liv mentioned?” He turned and seemed to be searching around for where the kitchen might be.

“Ooorah!” A cheer roared from outside.

I looked over at the open doorway. “Could that be what I think it is?”

“ I hope so,” Justice said as he led me back outside.

The men were surrounding someone as we walked over to see what was going on. When we got close we could hear Keys’ voice, “Hey! Stop shoving!”

Justice turned and told me, “I’ll go in and get our food.”

“Brave man,” I teased.

“A man has to provide for his woman, ya know?” He winked at me and shoved his way through the crowd.

Belle came up to stand next to me. “What is happening?’

I folded my arms over my chest. “Liberty’s request just arrived.”

She looked puzzled. “What?”

Justice came out of the dogpile of men and raised up his bounty. “Four quarter pounders!”

I laughed.

Liberty came over as he had a mouthful of his. He handed one to Belle.

She looked down at his offering. “Is that what all the fuss is about?”

He nodded as he swallowed. “It is worth dying for, little lady,” he drawled in a thick Texas twang.

Staring up at him, she finally accepted his offering. Looking over at me, she looked lost, like she found herself in Bizzaro world or something.

I laughed and placed my arm around her shoulder. “Let’s go and eat.”

“Where?” she asked.
