“Yay!”
“And the surprises keep coming…” he teased, dragging a finger down my body as I shivered. “Because we’re going to Aristelle for a night at the opera.”
I squealed. “Yay again! Are we picking up Vesper on the way?”
“She’s already there,” Kylo said.
My cheeks hurt from smiling so broadly.
“It’s time to rejoin the world, baby.”
“If we must,” I sighed. “But then we’re escaping again, for a really long time.”
“What about your shop?” he asked, kissing either side of my lips as I wiggled in my pastel pink bondage.
“Amy’s got it, and my mysterious disappearance will be excellent publicity. Business will boom.” I stared deep into his heart-melting blue eyes. “You don’t want to run away and be hermits together?”
“Baby, I would follow you anywhere.”
“Anywhere?”
He kissed me again, and we saw stars.
“Anywhere.”
