“Don’t be frightened.” Gunho shifted, using his knees to spread the man’s legs wide for him, then brought two fingers to his mouth and sucked. “I’ll make sure to open you up nice and good first, how about that? You have to make a choice quick though, I meant it about losing control. You’re lucky you caught me at the beginning of my rut, but now that I’ve smelled a suitable mate, my body is about to lose it. Once instincts take over…”

Gunho would most likely spear his cock through the pretty man’s unprepared orifice and tear him to shreds doing it. It’d been a long time since he’d experienced a rut this intense, he actually couldn’t recall the last time he’d felt this on edge. It might have even been one of his early teen years, just after presenting as an alpha.

It was the smell.

A smell he thought he’d never get to experience.

This man might not be an omega, but his regular pheromones and natural scent was calling to his alpha nature all the same. It’d triggered something in him he’d been told he’d never have the chance to feel.

Fated mates weren’t a thing, and love at first sight was bullshit.

But chemistry?

Gunho believed in science, and right now, all signs were pointing to them having the perfect chemistry with one another.

“You’re more than perfect. You’re a damn miracle.” He brought one of his wet fingers to the man’s entrance but pausedwith the top of it resting against his tight rim. “Well, pretty lover? What will it be?”

He wouldn’t let him go even if he denied him again, but choice, even the illusion of it, would help calm him enough Gunho could enter more easily. He truly didn’t want to hurt him. On the contrary, all of his instincts were screaming at him to be gentle, to coax him into agreeing.

Into giving himself over.

Into making himself his.

His.

That was right. Felt right.

He’d belong to him. Gunho would take him, claim him, breed him and—

The man sighed and went lax beneath him. “Just…keep your promise.”

“I’ll do my best.”

“That’s—” He hissed when Gunho wiggled that first digit past his defenses, slipping into him.

It took all of his willpower, but he forced himself to go slow, easing into the smaller man before pumping a few times. When he pulled back, he added the second finger, smirking when the man glared at him again.

“Too fast for you?” he teased. “If you were an omega, you’d create your own slick. My fingers would be drowning in your juices by now, and we wouldn’t have to bother with this.”

“Yeah, well, I’m not an omega.”

“Apparently.” Gunho made a disappointed sound. “I was sort of hoping that wasn’t the case. You smell good enough you might as well be one.”

That wasn’t even remotely true. It was a godsend that this man wasn’t an omega, because if he were, Gunho wouldn’t be able to do this yet. He’d have to take the time to investigate andbe sure he hadn’t been sent by his grandfather after all. He’d doubt the scent.

But his grandfather wasn’t behind this, and that smell was real.

Even if it wasn’t from an omega, it was calling to him.

Tempting him.

“What’s your name, pretty lover?”

“We don’t have to do that.” The man shook his head and moaned as Gunho speared in three fingers and picked up the pace. “This is just for tonight. No names.”

Something strange rumbled at the center of Gunho’s chest, and a wave of possessiveness overwhelmed him. He hadn’t gone all his life unable to smell a potential mate, just to be reduced to a one-night stand by the first candidate.

He had to claim him now.
