Maine didn’t like what he was hearing at all, that shit didn’t sound good and he could hear the worry in his nephew’s voice. “I don’t even know how to map that shit out son, in a situation like this, just pay close attention to the muthafuckas closest to you aiight. That’s all I can say, it always be a snake up under you somewhere. Pay attention.”
“What you mean Unc?”
“Exactly what I said, looks can be deceiving, just because it looks like she left like that, it don’t mean she really did.” He told him. “Do ya research man; I got to go. I’ll call you back.” Maine hung up.
“The fuck?” Perfect looked at the phone and frowned, he immediately called back, and the phone went straight to voicemail each time as though Maine had purposely turned his phone off.
Perfect grabbed his keys and grabbed both his guns, the first person that came to his mind was Rasta’s bitch ass and he needed to pay him a visit. He looked down at his buzzing phone and read a text from Yaya letting him know that she had to get back to Texas to sign off on an apartment, but she would be right back. After he read it, he tossed it on the seat. He got to Rasta’s house in no time and didn’t give a fuck about his fake ass security.
“Where the fuck my bitch ass daddy at?!” He barked at the big nigga who stood in front of him acting like he didn’t want to move.
Perfect pulled out his gun this time. “Do it look like I’m fuckin’ playin my nigga?” He shoved the gun in the dude’s face. He still didn’t budge standing there with a cold look in his eyes, the dude knew not to put his hands on Rasta’s son although he wanted to break his fucking neck.
“Put the fucking gun down.” Rasta said walking from the back clapping his hands like it was a show.
Perfect was now pointing at him, “I’mma blow yo muthafuckin’ brains out if you don’t tell me what the fuck happened to my girl!” Foam dripped from the sides of his mouth; he saw in Rasta’s eyes that he was on some crooked as shit.
Perfect now had multiple guns pointing at him. “Look around.” Rasta said. “You on my turf, you ain’t gon’ kill me lil nigga, you the one that’ll be leaving in a body bag, so make sure you think smart before you make a move.”
Perfect scanned with his eyes, “You let these niggas pull out on yo own son?” He smirked.
“Hey, they doing they job, it’s gon’ be me or you and it ain’t gon’ be me.” Rasta shrugged lighting a cigar.
“Fuck this shit!” Perfect continued to aim, “Where the fuck is Brook’Lynn?”
“I don’t know nothing about what you asking me. Her ho ass must’ve finally left you. I told you that bitch wasn’t shit. I told you stay away from her ass.” He reminded him.
“Nigga, you just mad cause she exposed yo punk ass.” Perfect spat. “The cat out the bag my nigga, own up to it and stop being a bitch. I swear to God if I find out you did something to her; God himself won’t be able to come down on a cloud and touch me to stop me from murking yo bitch ass!” He turned to walk away andlooked in the eyes of the big nigga who looked like he wanted to do something to Perfect. Without hesitation, Perfect shot his ass.
POW!
He stepped over him and walked the fuck out in a rage. He knew something was off, he just couldn’t put his fucking finger on it. He seriously didn’t know if he was going or coming but he had to go with his gut on this one…Brook’Lynn didn’t just up and leave. She’d just given birth, and he knew she wouldn’t play with her own health like that.
“What?!” He barked into the phone seeing Rasta calling, he hadn’t even made it any further than down the street.
“You know you gonna pay for that right? That was one of the most loyal niggas on my team.” Rasta said calmly.
Perfect took a deep breath and clinched his jaws. “Do what the fuck you gotta do.” He told him hanging up.
Kema rodealong side of Yaya down the streets of Dallas, “I can’t believe you got me to come out here with yo ass, you’re lucky I don’t have class, and my job wasn’t tripping since I told them I had a family emergency.”
Yaya checked herself in the mirror. “Look, you need to be my alibi cause I know this nigga Snake is going to try to keep me here. Watch, he’s gonna wanna wine and dine the shit out of me and try to keep me from Miami since he knows that my ex, who I happened to still be in love with is still there.” She explained applying her red Ruby Woo lipstick.
“Tell the truth, you fucked that nigga?” Kema grinned.
“A bitch like me ain’t got no reason to lie…girl I did, the night after I met him, the nigga showed me a wonderful time, took me to some kind of flower outlet or some shit…” She waved her hand in the air, “I mean…I don’t know the name of it, but I got to pick my own roses…the nigga dropped a whole bag on me and all, shit he’s covering the down payment for my apartment.”
“And you still plan on robbing him blind?” Kema asked her in disbelief.
“I’m gonna rob him, just not in the way you thinking. Why should I force the nigga when his country ass is willing and voluntarily ready to spend all this money? You see what happens when these country niggas get them a Miami bitch?” She winked at her friend.
Kema got serious all of a sudden, “On the real Yaya, I can’t tell you what to do but you need to slow down, like this the reason you and Boom broke up,” she reminded her.
The mentioning of Boom’s name gave her that sad feeling again but as soon as she felt it, she tried to disregard it. It takes time Kema, I promise I’m trying my best to slow down, but the only way I can get over Boom is to keep myself occupied.”
“I caught that look bitch.” Kema called her out, “You always trying to run away from your feelings and shit, but besides all that, you ain’t gotta do the shit you doing, you can keep yourself occupied in a good way.”
Yaya shrugged, “I know, I know…I promise I’m gonna try harder.”
