She’d been right, because he’d come. Right now, he was saying, “First step. Go wash all that off. Scent is made to linger, so you’ll need soap. Wash it off, and you’ll be able to smell again.”

“I suspect I’ll still get confused, though,” she said.

“Good thing you called in the talent off the bench, then,” he said. “Go wash it off and come find me. I’ll be the huge, hulking fella lingering amongst the lipsticks, making a game plan.”
