He’s smiling. “Stay in the lot, Kram.”

Oh. I can’t drive that thing, I’ll kill myself. It’s my biker-married day. “I should probably mention that I don’t know how to drive a motorcycle. I don’t mind being a passenger until you teach me.”

Friggin men! I just got a bike and I’m biker-married. I even won the games we played. They shouldn’t be laughing at me. They should be hugging me.

“Come here, Kram. We can get you the basics pretty quick. Your bike needs to be ridden.”

My eyes tear up. “I love you, Cort Masters.”

He lifts me up for a kiss. “Love you too, Seren Masters. Let’s ride so my girl gets to live her dream.”

Cort

She gets the clutch pretty quick, so I show her the throttle. She learned on a stick so the concept isn’t new to her. When my amazing little Goddess has it, I point us to where the games are still going on and let her get us there on her own. She’s keeping it slow, which is a relief and has everyone noticing as she giggles the whole fucking way.

We stop by the Officers. “I just learned how to stop without suffering whiplash. Pretty good, eh?”She’s got them laughing.

“It’s a nice bike, Seren. We can get you on the schedule for some training with it.” Hade looks at me. “That’s got some power to it.” Concern is in his eyes.

I nod. “Rex had matching bikes built. I think she’d like the training.” In other words, she isn’t riding without it.

Seren pipes in. “Yes! I want to learn how to drive on more than grass and people drive like nuts, so I need to know how to drive better than that.”She’s so fucking cute, her excitement is bubbling out. I’ve never seen her like this.

“I’ll get with you for a schedule. We run Prospects an hour, five nights a week. Freedom wants to take it too.” Hade looks at me. I give him a nod. “Together you can take this next class. It starts tomorrow.”

My girl is dancing around Freedom, who is just smiling at her antics. “I’ll fix my schedule so I’m free.”

The Officers watch with smiles. They think she’s cute too.

Seren rides back to the lot with the Officers trailing us. Rex and Ant Irma are proud of her driving skills. I watch them all take her and her bike in. They already love her. When Falcon walks into the mix with Harmony, the air changes. Harmony gushes over the bike and Seren riding but the Officers are tuned in and watching Falcon without being obvious.

“First bike and first ride are never forgotten, Seren. I’m glad we were here to see it,” Falcon says to her.

Her eyes stay on his for a good ten seconds then she smiles. “Glad you found your brain and will remember it.”

He smiles. “I lose it with the games. Sorry, I forgot they’rejustgames. I hope I didn’t fuck up your whole day.”

My girl makes me proud. “Nope, as a matter of fact, you just made it slide into perfect. Lately, that’s the norm so I’m glad you got this one back on track.”

He laughs with the rest of us. “Wouldn’t want to fuck with your record.”

Since he doesn’t look at me, I know our words will come later. I’m glad he did this.

Freedom knows how to ride so she takes Seren around the lot. I ride around, then everyone is on my bike trying it out, the XDiavel is a good around town bike. Seren’s tank and frame are smaller, but it’s still packing more power than a newbie should be sitting on.

Rex had a ton of shit added. He saidall the bells and whistleslooking proud. I’m not a bells and whistles kind of Brother. New technology needs a purpose and as far as I’m concerned, Seren riding on the side of me is only happening around town, the bikes are fine with what they originally came with. The colors are nice. Since I love Rex and he made her day, I love the bikes. Won’t ride it much, but it makes Seren happy.

My girl gets tired of her ride and parks on the side of my bike. She learns fast. I tell the Prospect, “Get them under cover at the back of the office. Seren will be joining the Prospect class tomorrow, so don’t bury it.”

“Roger, Boss. I’ll keep them together.”

“They got the fire going,” Freedom tells Seren, pulling her away from her bike.

I smile walking behind them, my little Kram looks back like she already misses it.
