“Want me to bring something for dinner, it will be after class?”

“No, the cafeteria has us covered.” I get another kiss and stroll my way over to Freedom.

“We need this, Boss.” Big guy is looking at Cort.

“Boss, he’s right. Freedom can free him up and train Security too. We had month-long crash courses. Two hours three times a week.”

I watch Cort. He’s going to say no. “I’m not putting her in a room with thirty Brothers I don’t know.”

“I’ll help. I have the time and I help now. Freedom runs our class.”

The big guy is nodding. I like him but looking back I see Cort isn’t going for it.

Raid jumps in before Cort can talk. “In the building, cameras running and us right here. I don’t see it as a problem. We’ll have Prospects and can put new Security with them. They’d kick the Brothers asses anyway.”

The other Officers agree and I give Cort my best smile. He shakes his head smiling. “I need fucking knee pads in every room I go to. Freedom if you want the two hours three days a week training, then two hours for meeting and assessments. It’s yours. Seren, if Freedom takes it, you’re in.”

“I’m in.” Freedom doesn’t make me wait. I dance around her. This will be more fun than looking for shit to do.

She plucks me away from her and watches Cort. I stop dancing and pay attention. “After Web’s, get the Prospect to take you to HR. Give them your rate and give one for my happy-dancing ol’ lady. You can start on Monday.”

Running to him, I jump up and kiss him. “I’ll save the happy-dance for when you get home.”

The Brothers are on him about that making me laugh. Freedom pulls me off him and pushes me out the door. “Professionalism isn’t your strong suit when you’re excited. Get it together.”

I nod at her and stop the door. “Hope you like the cookies. I put extra chips.”

Victory laughs and Freedom just about yanks my arm off my body. “Find a Prospect so you can dance around Web’s before we show at HR.”

I pull my phone and use the app. Before we’re at the elevator my phone rings. “Ma’am?”

“We need to go to Web’s apartment to see the furniture the Cowboy brought, then to HR.”

“You’re in the building.” He sounds confused.

“I know where I am now, I need a Prospect to show me where I’m going.”

“I’ll show you and get someone with you on the way.”

We all turn at the voice behind us. I shut my phone off and smile at him. “Glad you found us and thanks.” They really are like minions, just popping up everywhere you go.

Victory is laughing again.
