Chapter Fourteen
Seren
Waking up with his hand between my legs has got to be the same feeling he gets waking up to a blow job. I moan and grind into those slick fingers. “Can it get any better than this?” My barely awake mumble rolls out just before my moan.
A deep low moan has me thinking it can’t. The weight and heat are gone from my back and my eyes open in time to see the room whiz by as I’m flipped onto my back. “Whoa! A little notic...oh, man, forget it. It’s better. Mmmm, waaay better.”
His hot mouth makes everything better. There’s molten lava running through me and building at my core. “Cort.” My brain splinters on a moan that won’t stop as that volcano that was building erupts. He’s on me, in me, moving me and I let him. Everything feels better than the last thing he does and my splintered brain loses oxygen just trying to keep up.
“Fuuuck,” he groans out slow sounding like Harmony when she was in labor.
Trying to catch my breath, I smile. I do too. “Fuck is right.”
He kisses my head while I flop against his chest. “You remember?”
I just nod. I remember how it felt better and that’s good enough for me. Sometimes I remember everything, sometimes, not so much. But you don’t get to the rag-doll-labor-breathing-I’m-never-moving stage if it’s lousy sex.
I love that he always holds onto me like it matters to him too. “Love you, Captain Cort.” I kiss his chest just above his heart and squeeze as much as my arms will let me.
“Love you too, little Kram. I like the little things you do to show that. No one has ever done shit like you. Being big doesn’t mean I don’t like our bubbles of time. They mean something and you always give me that. You even create them. Crow told me there’s one person that’smeant to bein your lifetime. I’m glad you found me or I found you. I think he was right.”
The big brute is so sweet he has tears in my eyes. I don’t dare look up at him. I give him another squeeze so my head stays on his chest while I blink like crazy. “I’m glad you found me. I’m never alone now. It’s like you brought me a new life and said, ‘fly, little Kram.’” I make my voice deep and he laughs.
“I want you to fly, to ride your bike, safely, to live whatever happy you can find and I can give you. You’re everything and I want you to see and feel it.”
I kiss his chest again. “I do, Cort. Your balls are safe. It’s like Rex said, I’m blissfully happy.”
He laughs. “Good to know. Let’s shower and I’ll make you breakfast. I missed you last night.”
Since I don’t have to do a damn thing, I agree and tell him about the kids and Ant Irma going out on Saturday while he washes me. He won’t let me wash him, which is how it always goes, so I don’t.
He makes me his skillet breakfast while I ask him about the kids’ program. I make and get him coffee since I’m not allowed to help with this either. He’s making me lazy.
“Amos has the program but could use help. We just got a shit load of kids in from all over. It’s the perfect time to start here. I’m going to ask our EMT, Patcher, to help with it. Patcher is the Brother with the full sleeves and his neck inked all in green and black.”
I smile at that. “Your EMT is Patcher.” I laugh. “Good name or description. I met him at the pig roast.”
He nods. “That’s mostly what road names are. Banks does money, his name is Brad. Amos looks like some famous guy with the blonde hair. Falcon doesn’t miss shit. He can tell you if a guy or girl was standing at a light six lights back.”
Wow. “Crow?”
He laughs putting everything he just cooked, in a bigger pan than usual, then in the oven. “He was Indian. It was his real name.”
“What’s your road name?”
He smiles. “Masters. They used to give me shit about always having to master something before I’d move on. So my real name worked.
I laugh. He is like that. I can see the Brothers giving him a hard time. “How cool are you? It works. How come the Brothers from here and most of the Prospects aren’t all tattooed like the other Club Brothers?”
He shrugs. “We’ve always been a big Security company. Some clients don’t go for the biker look. We do huge events and shit. If they’re inked, they can’t get on some jobs, especially in the summer. I guess they like the job more than the ink.”
“I like that I can keep them straight by the tattoos. Anything that helps is good. They have Badass on them too but not as cool as yours. There’s a lot more detail and it looks sharper even in 3D.”
He smiles like the world is perfect and my heart jumps. The man is just too handsome. “How did it go yesterday?”
He sits pulling me onto his lap. “We have about ten minutes. Jordan said it was almost easy. I thought the same thing. Four Clubs, our Enforcers took lead in all, our Controls ran Ops watching over theirs and we were done in four hours. They complimented Phoenix skill and training.” He looks away smiling. “Major was proud.”
“That’s great! He should be proud. He’s the one that approves the affiliate chapters, right?” I watch his head swing back to me fast. With his nod, I go on but his eyes look almost hard and sharp, like they’re zeroed in on something. “He’s always been a mentor of sorts for you. Now you’re his for this new phase of Badass. You learned how to do everything and you still do it. I read about the President’s running the Clubs. It doesn’t say they’re Enforcers, trainers or Ops. They lead and they’re great leaders. Some of those guys had it hard and worked their asses off just integrating into communities. You probably did too but you’re young so you still Enforce, train and run Ops. It’s impressive and Major saw and approved of you and the Phoenix. You’re the Badass he works to promote. Of course he’s proud.”
