“When you booked your trip, did you know you were leaving right before the Jackson Falls Fall Festival starts?”

Her eyes widened. “What?”

“It kicks off next Friday night. You should consider extending your stay.”

Her expression was thoughtful. “I should. I’ve never been to a ‘fall festival.’ That gives very… Hallmark Channel movie. Whatkinda stuff do y’all do at this ‘fall festival?’ I’m seeing pumpkin carving contests, a corn maze, scarecrow stuffing...”

I cracked up. “You’re not far off.” My chuckles subsided. “There are definitely cook offs, pumpkin carving, and corn mazes. They have live music, hayrides, and a parade. The locals love it, and we always get a gang of tourists. It’s a big boost for the local economy. The kickoff is next Friday. They’re havingLondynville Steeleopen up the festivities this year.”

“Stop talking!” She practically shrieked. “My mama lovesLondynville Steele. They mix R & B soul with a little bit of country. Man, if I had known, I definitely would’ve gotten her a ticket.”

“This isn’t Chicago, lil’ mama. She won’t need a ticket. We set up a stage in the middle of the square on Second Street, and the band plays. It’s standing room only. Most people won’t even watch the whole show. We walk around and grab stuff from the food trucks or whatever while they play. It’s a… casual vibe situation.”

She seemed to mull it over. “Yeah. I’m about to reach out to the lodge and see if I can extend my stay.”

She nodded her head decisively. “I came here to experience new things, and I’ve never experienced a real life, small town Fall Festival. Plus, I’mma fly my mama in for the weekend, and then we’ll leave together on Monday morning—” She had already put her fork down and taken out her phone. She was typing away when she looked up at me. “How long does the festival last?”

“Officially, Friday through Sunday, but there will be something fall related happening in the square every weekend up until Thanksgiving.”

“I just sent my mom a text, telling her that I’m getting her a plane ticket to come here this weekend to seeLondynville Steelein person.” She giggled. “She’s crashing out.”

“Speaking of seeing musical acts in person, do you plan on seeing Allura perform tomorrow night?”

Her eyes lit up. “I love Allura. She’s my favorite artist. I had no idea she would be here, and the tickets were sold out by the time I even booked my cottage. My plan is to stand outside the auditorium and lip sync to the songs.”

I laughed aloud. “My family has a private box in the auditorium. You wanna be my date?”

When I picked Collins up for the concert the following night, I involuntarily took a step back as my tongue came out of my mouth and traced the contour of my lips.

“Dayum!” I said appreciatively. “Look at you.”

Per the usual, she swiped a few strands of hair behind her ear before giving me her eyes. “Hey.”

“You look… beautiful and sexy and shit… I don’t know… dope!”

“Thank you.” She blushed wildly.

But how could she expect not to get complimented when she came out of the cottage wearing what was essentially a cardigan as a dress? The button-up sweater was a cream color with what looked like oversized denim pockets at her hips. She had paired the dress with denim looking peep-toe boots that went to the middle of her thighs.

“Dayum,” I repeated because she looked so damn good. She had me wanting to skip the concert and take her into the cottage. I wanted to know what the hell was under that cardigan. The way her titties were sitting, it was obvious that she didn’t have on a bra.

“I don’t usually dress like this… I’m usually super conservative. But since I have a date, and we’re only going to the lobby, I decided to take a risk.”

“Shit, this risk paid off. You look…” I shook my head as I let my words trail off.

“Your mom won’t be in the box with us, will she? I really don’t want her to see me dressed this way.”

I chuckled lightly. “You’re cool. You ready?”

She took my offered hand. All I could do was watch her walk.

Allura took the stage less than thirty minutes after we settled into the box. My parents weren’t there, but my brothers and their respective dates and friends were. Almost all of the women complimented Collins on her fashion, which made me smile. I could tell she was a bit self-conscious, but she eased into being more comfortable with the compliments.

We didn’t stay in our seats once Allura began to croon one of her biggest hits, “Stolen Chances.” I positioned myself behind Collins, unable to stop myself from leaning my body into hers. She felt perfect in my arms, like that was exactly where she belonged. She wound her hips to the beat and didn’t seem to care that her ass repeatedly grazed my dick. I kissed her on the neck, inhaling the fragrance she’d clearly dabbed behind her ears.

Allura serenaded us about the pleasures of male and female entanglements. I wrapped my arms around Collins, pulling her even closer. She sang the lyrics, throwing her arms into the air, and moving sensually. I personally loved to see it. She turned around, looking up at me with longing in her eyes. I bent down and pressed my lips to hers, kissing her. Allura’s moodiness wasa whole vibe that had me wanting to lock Collins down and make sure that every concert she ever attended was with me.

We bobbed in time to the beat of the music—her back pressed against me and my arms around her, holding her close as hell. I felt so content. When Allura announced her final song of the night, I was kind of disappointed but cool at the same time. I was ready to get out of there, take Collins back to the cottage, and fuck on her a little bit.
