Parson fell forward on the bed. "If I didn't love you before, I do now."

Beau laughed as he slowly pulled out and rolled to his side, taking his weight off Parson. "I love you too." He kissed the back of Parson's shoulder.

Parson rolled to his back, his eyes still closed, his skin wet with perspiration. "It only gets better with you. Not just the sex either."

Beau smiled. "Maybe after fifty years together, we'll perfect it all."

"Mmm, don't know if I want to think about us at eighty." Parson laughed.

"We'll be the coolest grandparents there are."

"We would be." Parson turned to face Beau. "Speaking of which, I talked to Lisa today. I think she's going to end up keeping the baby. She's still unsure, but I get the feeling that's how she's leaning."

"God, I hope so. I'll support her no matter what, but I really hope she keeps it."

"You ready to have a baby around?"

"I am. It will be a change, but a good one. My mom will spoil the baby so I won't have to."

Parson smiled. "You know we both would, even if others are getting her everything."

"Probably." Beau wrapped his arm around Parson. "You ready for all this? It's not going to scare you away, will it?"

Parson smiled. "Well, I never did imagine myself dating a grandpa this early in my life, but I guess I could get used to it."

"You know, if I get you to marry me down the road, you'll become a grandpa right along with me," Beau teased.

"I think I could handle that as long as I'm by your side." Parson kissed him softly. "I think together, we can get through anything."

"So do I." As Beau kissed him, he hoped that was true. He wanted forever with Parson. Each day they were together, his life was brighter. Facing life together would be an adventure, and he swore as they started to drift off to sleep, that no matter what, he'd do everything possible to assure that their love stayed strong, no matter what might challenge them.

EPILOGUE

Beau slowly opened his eyes and looked toward the door as another knock came. "You can open it," he called out to the kids he was sure were behind it.

Jeff walked in first, then Lisa slowly behind him. "It's seven already, can we open presents?" Jeff gave Beau his biggest smile.

Beau leaned up on his elbows. "I guess we could, but we've got to find a way to wake Parson up." Beau glanced at the man beside him.

Knowing the kids would come in early, they were both wearing pajama pants instead of sleeping naked like they usually did. He could tell Parson was awake by his breathing, but he kept his eyes closed as if he was still asleep.

"I'll wake him." Jeff ran forward, stopping at the bottom of the bed where Parson's bare foot was hanging out. Jeff gently started to tickle it.

Parson jumped, drawing his leg under the cover quickly. "Beau, I think we have bugs in the bed. I felt one crawling on my foot."

Beau smiled at the kids. "Yeah, I saw a very large bug attack your foot. You better be careful or it might get you again."

"Won't you protect me?" Parson still had his eyes closed.

"I don't know. This bug is pretty big." Beau winked at Jeff and nodded that he could climb on the bed.

Jeff jumped onto the bed and tackled Parson. "I got you."

Parson carefully rolled so he didn't knock Jeff off the bed, but then grabbed him and started to tickle him. "I know how to take care of these kinds of bugs. You tickle them until they can't move."

Jeff screamed and laughed.

Lisa stood beside the bed, smiling at her brother.
