"What? I'm not sure how serious this is yet. We went on one date and kissed. It's not a big deal."

"It is. Youneverdate."

"I do. You just don't know about it."

"I thought you told me everything."

Beau laughed. "Almost everything. I don't tell you about my sex life."

"Why not?"

Beau glanced at her. "Um, because you're fifteen, and besides, I don't talk about my sex life with anyone. It's personal. It's not the kind of thing I share with everyone."

Faith folded her arms over her chest. "So who is he?"

"Didn't the media tell you his name?"

"They didn't know. They said you were seen kissing a mysterious man and they were trying to get his name."

Beau was surprised they hadn't figured out who Parson was yet. "I thought they'd figure it out by now."

"Why, is he famous?"

"No, he's not, but his parents are." Beau smiled. It would drive Faith crazy asking questions if he didn't give her a name.

"Oh, who?" She asked.

"Why? Are you going to send the name to the press so they know?"

She slapped his arm. "You know I'd never do that to you. Now, what's his name?"

Beau laughed. "His name is Parson. He's the CPS caseworker working Lisa's case."

"Oh…" Faith bit at her lip for a second. "Is that good? I thought you guys didn't like CPS."

"We don't. That hasn't changed. It doesn't mean I can't like someone who works there. He's different. He wants to see change too."

"Well, you obviously like each other."

Beau grinned.

"Can I meet him?"

"If we keep seeing each other, sure. It's new. Last night was our first date, so let me see how things go. It's not a big deal. It was one date. One kiss. I'm not even sure we'll go out again. That's up to him." Beau didn't want to get her hopes up if this turned out to be nothing. It was bad enough his hopes were already up.

"Your eyes light up when you talk about him."

Beau laughed. "And that means?"

"That you like him a lot."

"I do, but I can't control if he likes me or not. He might see his picture in the press and decide this isn't what he wants."

"And he might like having a famous boyfriend and want more." Faith nudged his arm. "I like that he makes you smile."

"So do I." Beau glanced over at her. "But it's not up to me on if this works out or not. We'll see if he calls me today." He'd hoped he would have called by now. The longer he went without a call, the more worried he was that Parson might turn him in for what he'd done.

"I hope he does," Faith told him.
