"Is that so?" Parson traced his hand up the outside of Beau's thigh.

Beau's cock shot right to attention. He hadn't planned on coming over for anything sexual, but his body quickly changed plans as Parson touched him. "You have no idea how you make me feel. It's been a long time since I've been attracted to anyone the way I am you."

"It's the red hair." Parson winked.

Beau ran his fingers through Parson's hair. "If we're talking what's on the outside, but I'm not." He touched the tip of his finger to Parson's temple. "It's what's in here and in here." He moved his finger over Parson's heart. "I can find anyone pretty to have on my arm, but finding someone I want there is another story. You, I want beside me. I want to spend time with you. You aren't just someone for the media to photograph. You're there because I want you to be. Because you make me think of insane things I want to do."

"Like adopt children?" Parson grinned.

"Like eventually have those children be ours instead of just mine," Beau said honestly.

Parson smiled, but took a step back. "We hardly know each other."

"Tell me you don't feel it." Beau didn't crowd Parson. Instead, he moved to the couch and sat down. "I know it's crazy, but I feel it. I know if we both try, if we both want this, it will work. I'm not asking you to marry me today. Hell, I'm not even asking for you to commit to a relationship, but I am asking you to give it all a shot with me. See where it goes."

Parson took a seat beside him. "I want to see where this goes. I'm not going to deny there is something between us. I just refuse to rush things. I want to, trust me. There's a part of me wondering why we're still dressed and not up in my bed yet, but there is another part that says this is more than just sex, more than just need, and we need to ease into things. We've been out once and you already have me feeling like this is forever."

Beau nodded. "I feel the same way. I don't do this. Hell, I hardly date, so I know for you to have this effect on me, there's something damn special going on between us. I'm willing to go as slow as you want. I'm in no rush to get us into bed or start spouting our feelings to each other. I just want you to know that I am looking into the future with us. That's where I'd like to see us. This isn't just some short hook-up."

"I come with baggage," Parson warned.

"More than mine? I have a homophobic father who hates that I'm a doctor and not a businessman, I'm taking a leap and adopting two kids when I've got no clue how to be a father and the only example of a father I have is a disaster, and my best friend is a fifteen-year-old girl who will probably dump me to be best friends with my new daughter instead."

Parson took Beau's hand in his. "I'll be your new best friend."

Beau loved that idea. "Best friends who kiss a lot? Because I really like kissing you."

"I like kissing you too, and for the record, I'm not saying we can't have sex. I don't want to go that slow, I'm just saying maybe we put off celebrating Grandfathers' Day together for a while. While my parents will rush to see us married, I'd rather us take our time and ease into things."

"At least one of us has parents who will be happy for us."

"Are you worried about your dad?"

Beau shook his head. "Not worried, just disgusted by. He called me already asking about the pictures of us together, reminding me not to embarrass the family. I hung up on him, but I'm sure I haven't heard the last of it. His opinions don't change anything. I'm not hiding who I am or who I'm with. If the media was an issue for you, then I'd consider not going out much, but since you don't seem to mind if we have people watching us in public, then I'm not worried about it. Your opinions and needs are my only concern, not my father's."

"I'm actually entertained seeing what the media has to say about us. As of this morning when I looked, they were trying to figure out who I am. No one has knocked on my door for a comment yet, and my parents haven't called, so I'm assuming no one has figured it out. It could be fun driving them crazy and watching them try and figure out my identity." Parson grinned. "For once, I might actually enjoy the media following us around."

Beau laughed. "I love it. Brunch next weekend at the Belvedere with me?"

"Brunch with a cute doctor? I think I'm up for that."

"Do you need to warn your parents we're together?" Beau asked.

"Nah, their publicist has had to have seen the pictures of us already. They're probably just waiting for me to call and tell them I'm seeing someone or think I'm just out whoring around. They know I don't tend to get serious with anyone. I'm sure once they hear of us out together more, they'll call. I have to call them this week anyway to find out if they're willing to help with the fundraiser. I know they will, if they're in town and not off filming someplace."

"Enough about family and fundraisers and all that. I came here to spend time with you." Beau settled his hand on Parson's knee. "Can I have a kiss? I've been wanting one since you walked into the hospital earlier."

"Just one?" Parson moved closer.

"We'll see what happens. I hate placing limits on things." He cupped Parson's cheek with his palm.

Beau smiled before closing the distance and kissing Parson. He moaned at the first touch of their lips and moved closer, wrapping his arms around Parson, and pulling him even tighter against him. This was what he needed, what he'd been missing all day.

Parson slid his hand up Beau's back, into his hair, combing his fingers through it before gripping the strands gently as he opened his mouth, allowing Beau to deepen the kiss.

As their tongues met, Beau forgot about everything else. Parson was all that mattered. Kissing him was like coming home after a long trip. It was where he belonged, comfortable and welcoming.

The kiss lasted forever, both of them pulling back a bit, then diving back in, unable to get enough of each other. Beau's hands moved over Parson's back and shoulders, memorizing the curves of his muscles, then lower, cupping his ass as he pulled Parson onto his lap so he was straddling Beau's legs.
