"We'll find time, besides, it sounds like the kids like having you around as much as I do." Beau ran his mouth up Parson's neck before capturing his lips for a kiss.

When they broke apart, Parson was ready to say the hell with going back to work and force Beau into his bedroom for a few while the kids explored the house. "You're hard to resist, Mr. Maddington."

"The feeling's mutual, Mr. Detry." Beau moved his hips so Parson could feel how hard he was.

"Maybe tonight." Parson groaned.

"Maybe?"

"The kids, plus we need to talk first."

"Why does that worry me?" Beau frowned.

"Don't worry. I promise it will be painless." Parson nipped at Beau's lip. "I have to get back to work, or I won't leave. You're too tempting, but I will drop by tonight after work."

"I'm making spaghetti for dinner if you want to eat with us. Should be ready around six." Beau nipped his lip right back.

Parson nodded. "I'll take you up on that offer, and the other offer."

"What offer is that?" Beau asked.

Parson cupped Beau's cock with his hands. "This one." He grazed his fingers over the hardness before stepping back. "Call me if you or the kids need anything." He waved as he headed downstairs.

Beau was directly behind him, grabbing him from behind once they got to the bottom of the steps. "You're not leaving here without a proper kiss."

"Look who's demanding today. I like it." Parson didn't hesitate as he kissed Beau long and hard, not pulling away until they were both breathless. "See you tonight."

"Yes, you will." Beau smiled as he watched Parson walk out the door.

Once he was outside, Parson blew out a long breath. The man was going to drive him insane. He needed to get it under control and remember there were now two kids around who didn't need to see them making out all the time.

As he pulled out of the driveway and headed back to work, he swore that if the conversation went well tonight, he'd find a way to get Beau alone for a few hours. The two of them were going to lose their minds if they didn't do something to release the sexual tension that was building between them each time they saw each other.

CHAPTER TWENTY-THREE

Beau watched the kids as they all sat on the large sectional couch in the basement. They'd all had an exhausting day getting to know each other better as they explored the house and Beau showed them everything and how it all worked.

The kids were still scared to really touch anything, and it made Beau wonder how controlling their other homes had been. There was nothing really in his house that the kids could hurt. It was all replaceable. The things that weren't, he had locked up. He wanted the kids to think of the home as theirs and didn't want to put limits on where they could go or what they could do.

Meeting Warren had gone well, and he hoped that things would go well with him working as a nanny. Lisa talked to him a lot about cooking, and Warren promised to teach her everything he knew, and Jeff had asked if Warren liked baseball, and that had started an hour's worth of talk about sports.

After Warren left, Parson had shown up and eaten dinner with them. The kids went on and on telling Parson all about their day. It wasn't until they came down and put a movie on that both the kids settled down, curling up on one end of the couch together to watch.

Beau sat beside Parson, their thighs touching, but other than holding hands, they didn't show any affection to each other. Keeping it simple was best when Lisa and Jeff were around. The relationship wasn't just new to him and Parson, but also to the kids, and he wanted them to get used to seeing them together gradually.

He had no idea what Parson wanted to talk about, but the fact he'd directly asked for a conversation made it sound serious. He hoped there wasn't a problem with foster parenting. He wasn't going to let these kids go now that he had them. They were his family now, and no one would break them up.

As the credits started to roll across the screen Beau sat forward and stretched. "Okay, time for bed."

"Ah, do we have to?" Jeff grumbled.

"Yep, it's ten already. You need to sleep. There are new toothbrushes and everything in the bathroom. You'll know which ones are yours. And, I put new pajamas in each of your dressers in the top drawer. Tomorrow we'll go get some more clothes, but for now, I just got some stuff to get us by until we get to the mall."

Lisa stood and came over, bending to hug him tightly. "Thank you, Beau. You're nicer than any foster parent ever has been."

"Yeah, you are." Jeff followed, hugging him tightly.

"Do you guys need any help getting into bed?" Beau wanted to give them freedom, but he also wanted to be there if they needed anything. He just wasn't sure what the boundaries were yet.
