"Safe. The woman with them is drugged." Kacey put the gun back in his pocket.
"Then let's get to work," Bryon said as Noam carried the woman from the bedroom and laid her on the couch.
Xander kicked one of the man's legs. "You guys ready to party? You came here hoping to have some fun, so let's have some." He dropped down to his knees, smiling evilly at the man who stared back at him but couldn't move. He pulled out his knife and started to cut the pants from the man. "You think it's fun hurting children? We're going to make sure you're never able to hurt another one again."
Bryon turned his attention from the others and focused on what he had to do. Only three of them were used to cutting, so it was up to them to castrate all the men. The others were trained to do it but had never done it to a real human. It would be faster for those who knew what they were doing to cut while the others placed evidence for the police to find and stood guard.
He knelt beside a man who stared up at him. "You didn't think you could do something like this and never get caught, did you?" Bryon asked the man. "Get this guys, he's wearing his congressional pin on his lapel. So cocky that he didn't even worry about people knowing he's a congressman." Bryon used his knife to slice the man's pants away, then roughly cut his briefs from his body. The fear in the congressman's eyes pissed Bryon off more. "You didn't care if you scared the kids. I'm not worried a bit that you're scared now." He found the string in his pocket and pulled it out, then set the other items he would need on the floor beside him.
The scent of burning skin filled the air and Bryon glanced up long enough to see that Xander had already completed one castration.
"Kids are secure. I turned cartoons on and told them to wait." Archer walked from the room. "The door is secured from the outside so they won't walk out and see any of this."
"Good work." Noam set a file of papers on the coffee table, then added three thumb drives also filled with evidence beside them.
Bryon refocused and tied the string around the man's cock. "Think they'll let you stay in congress after this?" He pulled the string tight, made the cut, and reached for the catheter tubing. Once he had it in place, he used the torch to cauterize the area to keep the man from bleeding to death.
"Bet his wife leaves him too. She won't want him around his own kids after she learns what he's been up to. Sadly, his poor kids will have to be questioned to make sure he wasn't abusing them," Kacey said as he set a severed cock on the chest of the man he'd just taken it from.
Bryon stood, leaving the last two men for Kacey and Xander to handle. He turned and looked around the room. "They leave us any new evidence around?"
Archer shook his head. "We can try and search cell phones, but they're probably password protected. I don't see any computers around."
"That's okay. It won't take long for other pedophiles to hear what happened here. Hopefully, they'll think twice about going after another child. We've got plenty of emails and names of others they're working with. Wagstaff can let Diaz know we're getting closer." Bryon wanted the crime boss to be worried. His team might not be able to do much, but there were others out there who eventually could.
"Nah, Diaz will have Wagstaff killed for drawing attention to his group." Xander smiled at the man he'd just castrated. "If we're close enough to link Wagstaff and Diaz together, Diaz will get rid of the link."
"Dead or alive, none of these assholes will be hurting another child." Archer nodded to Bryon. "We're done here."
"Good, let's go so we can get those kids help." Bryon glanced around. "Gather everything you brought and make sure none of you cut yourself on the broken glass. The last thing we need is to leave blood evidence around." He'd been stupid not to have a clean-up kit around in case they needed one.
"We're good." Xander tucked his knife into the Ziploc bag he had put the other evidence in. "Tie them up and we're out of here."
Bryon glanced at the men. "The drug will fade in a few hours. We'll send medical help to take you to the hospital." He watched as the team used zip ties to tie the men up just in case the drugs wore off before help arrived. "Make sure you tie her up as well." He nodded to the scared woman on the couch. Then glanced back to where the guard was, relieved to see his arms and legs were already tied. "We'll be home and having a cold beer in no time."
"We should stop for tacos. I'm starving," Xander said.
"I have it on good authority that there will be food waiting for us." Bryon thought of Geo and how he'd been so determined to have a meal ready for them.
"That's the best news I've heard all night." Xander grinned. "Let's go."
Bryon cast another glance around, aware the others were doing the same. He saw nothing that could incriminate them. He gave a nod and the group headed out the door, leaving the men on the floor to fear whatever would come next.
CHAPTER TWENTY-NINE
As they parked in front of the mansion, Bryon was exhausted. Everything had gone just as they'd planned, and right now, a team of doctors were probably trying to figure out how to treat the castrated men. At the same time, he hoped a good team of police were investigating the men and reading over the evidence they'd left behind, along with taking care of the traumatized children who they'd had to leave behind.
They'd disposed of all the evidence, tossing the knives, gloves, torches, and other items they'd used into the abyss where they'd never be found. Finding a large body of water nearby wasn't easy in a place like Vegas, but they'd managed to find a place that hadn't meant hours of driving.
"You're back!" Geo grinned at Xander as he climbed from the car.
"Did you think we wouldn't be?" Xander grabbed the kid and hugged him. "I promised you we'd get that new video game tomorrow and play. Did you think I lied?"
"I knew you wouldn't lie." Geo stared up at him. "But if something had gone wrong—"
"Nothing went wrong. Everything happened just as we wanted it to. Now I just want something to eat." Xander kept an arm around Geo's shoulder as they walked inside.
Bryon grinned. It would be nice having Geo around. In time, he'd get used to the worry each time Xander went out on a job. Back home it would be easier on him because there Matt was always around on the computers and not out putting himself in danger like he had here.
