Cameron hadn’t confided in anyone about such things. And he decided not to now. The day was too special, so he tried to get back into a romantic mindset. “Wanna put on some music?” he offered, knowing that his boyfriend would leap at the opportunity.
“I get to choose?” Anthony asked, already moving toward his collection of cassettes.
“On second thought,” Cameron said after watching him frown at a few options, “why don’t you put your mixtape on?”
Anthony beamed at the idea, and not because it was music that he had selected. The tape had become their own personal soundtrack. They had been listening to it the first time they professed their love to each other. And it had been playing the first time they had done more. Hearing the music was enough to make his heart swell… along with at least one other part of him. He wasn’t alone, judging from Anthony’s seductive tone.
“Welcome to my massage parlor,” his boyfriend said. “Where do you have the most stiffness?”
Cameron disguised a smile by turning it into a wince. “All sorts of places,” he said, rotating a shoulder. “This might take a while.”
“Don’t worry,” Anthony said. “We’re legally required to stay open until ten. Let’s begin by inspecting the problem area. Take off your shirt.”
Cameron undid the buttons of his polo shirt before stripping it off and tossing it aside.
Anthony frowned and shook his head. “The T-shirt too, please.”
“If you insist,” Cameron said. He took his time when peeling it off, giving Anthony a good look at his bare torso before sauntering over. “Right around here,” he said, taking Anthony’s hand and moving it to the curve of his deltoid.
His cold thin fingers felt nice against Cameron’s hot skin.
“Oh wow,” Anthony said. “Yeah, there’s a lot of tension here.”
Cameron moved his face closer to those pink lips. “An incredible amount.”
Anthony’s mouth brushed against his, but only teasingly. “Lie down, please.”
“On my back?” Cameron asked.
Anthony smirked. “You had better start on your stomach, sir, so we don’t get distracted.”
“Of course.” Cameron got on the bed. He felt the mattress shift as Anthony climbed on top and straddled him before leaning over, his hands massaging Cameron’s shoulders. “That feels good,” he murmured.
“My thoughts exactly,” Anthony breathed. “You have a great body. Erm… Sir.”
“Thanks,” Cameron said. “I’ve upped the amount of pushups I do, and recently, I added pullups.”
“Can I watch sometime?” Anthony asked. “To make sure those exercises aren’t the source of your tension.”
“Yes. But I have a feeling you’ll find the issue before much longer.”
“Not yet,” Anthony said, beginning to knead his back. “I promised you a massage.”
And he took that seriously, judging from the way he methodically worked his way down to Cameron’s lower back, across his shoulders, and even along his arms.
“I can’t believe people get paid to do this!” Anthony breathed.
“I don’t think it’s always someone you’re attracted to,” he responded.
“I guess not. Anytime you want me to do this, I’m into it.”
“Really?”
“Mm-hm.” He began pinching the muscles along Cameron’s spine. “The same with Valentine’s Day. I take it all back. Maybe not the desperate cash grab aspect, but you’ve shown me how good the rest can be. It’s a nice holiday, when you’ve got someone who loves you back.”
“I really do,” Cameron said before swallowing. “With all my heart.”
Anthony kissed the back of his neck before his weight shifted off of him. “I’m all done with this side,” he said.
