“Was there anything else?” Gael asked.

“That’s all. We won’t be here longer than a week. Two at the most.”

Two weeks? That was news to me.

“Happy to help the Mac Tíre Clan,” Gael said, rising from his seat and moving to a sideboard where a silver tray held a crystal decanter filled with amber liquid. “Do you need somewhere to stay while you’re in town?”

I felt Keir’s gaze on me, before he said, “We’ll find somewhere closer to her mam’s house, but we appreciate the offer.”

“You’ll stay for a drink though,” Gael said, a statement more than a question.

“Of course.”

Chapter 16

Keir

Istared at Molly, who stood and glared at all of us, her arms crossed, a thundercloud expression on her face. I was completely and utterly fascinated by how few fucks she gave about being in the literal, beating heart of the Sionnach Clan territory. Nothing seemed to faze this fucking woman, even the fact that I made her suck my dick before we met with Gael and his son.

My lips twitched at the memory of her venomous stare when I slapped my hand over her mouth and plugged her nose, forcing her to swallow my cum. However, it was the way she squirmed afterwards that told me everything I needed to know. She had been drenched, and I would be the one to relieve her of the ache between her thighs. Although I told myself, I wouldn’t fuck her while she slept, I craved her expression of pure outrage when she realized I’d been balls deep inside of her, wringing out her pleasure. I was hungry for her ire.

“—nd Torin?”

My attention snapped back to Owen. “Sorry, what?”

The Sionnach Chief’s eyes shifted to Molly, then back to me, and a smile lifted his lips. “She’s got you twisted up.”

“She’s a good fuck,” I said, dismissing his curiosity.

“Must be fantastic,” the other man muttered, taking a sip from his glass, his dark blue eyes still on her. “Would you be willing to let me have her for the night? I like them skinny and fragile.”

Like the beast it was, my anger roared to life at the thought of sharing Jynx. I couldn’t reveal how much of a bigfuck nothat idea was, besides, Jynx wasn’t fragile—not by a long shot. “I don’t share,” I told him. “She’s warming my bed for now, but when I get tired of her, I’ll send her your way.”

I didn’t like the glint in his eye. Owen O’Mahony wasn’t like his da—honorable. I knew of a few backdoor deals he’d made that were less in line with his da’s vision for the clan. I didn’t want Jynx on his radar.

Bringing my glass up, I tipped what was left of the whiskey into my mouth and placed the tumbler back onto the tray. Gael had staff that worked here to tidy up after us. The way he ran his clan was night and day compared to ours, but I guess that’s what happened when a cultured and educated man from old money took over a clan. He tidied it up. Compared to the Sionnach Clan, the Mac Tíre were fucking savages, and it was exactly the way I liked it.

“We should go. Molly’s mam invited us for dinner.”

Owen dragged his gaze away from Molly’s legs and shot me a questioning look. “I thought she was just some pussy.”

I gritted my teeth. “We told her mam we were engaged. Needed to make it apparent that I was with Molly, so whoever was gunning for her would know they’d have to come through me first.”

“Why do you call her Jynx?”

I glanced at my little hellion, and she glared back at me. To Owen, I replied, “When will you send the Dogs over to her mam’s house?”

“You’ll have them before dark.”

I nodded, shaking his hand before turning to Gael’s. “I appreciate you doing this for us.”

“A favor for a favor, Keir. You know how it works.”

Yes. Yes, I fucking knew how it worked.

“Are you ready to go, Jynx?”

She turned from where she stood, her expression still pissed off. “I was ready an hour ago.”
